Jabra Perform 45: Setting a Preferred Softphone
This guide explains how to set a preferred softphone using Jabra Direct for the Jabra Perform 45 headset.
Prerequisites

If you have multiple softphones installed, you can select a preferred softphone. Follow these steps:
- Open Jabra Direct.
- On the left menu, click Settings.
- In Softphone Integration > Preferred Softphone, select your preference.
If your organization has decided to manage the setting centrally, this will be indicated by a Lock icon ?.

Jabra Direct Settings Overview
Within Jabra Direct, you can configure several settings related to your headset's performance:
- General Settings: Configure basic preferences.
- Updates: Manage software updates for your Jabra device.
- Feedback: Provide feedback on your experience.
- Help: Access support resources.
Under Softphone Integration, you can manage:
- Presence Synchronization: Syncs connected device status with softphone status.
- Preferred Softphone: Allows you to choose which softphone application is used with connected devices. Options may include applications like Microsoft Teams.
The following general settings are also available:
- Allow Notifications: Allows Jabra Direct to send notifications about available updates and other relevant information.
- Enable Jabra Direct in Tray: Enables an overview and notifications from Jabra Direct, accessible in the notification area.
