Setting Your Preferred Softphone
If you have multiple softphone applications installed on your computer, you can choose a preferred one to be used with your connected Jabra devices. Follow these steps:
- Open the Jabra Direct application.
- Navigate to the Settings section, typically found in the left-hand menu.
- Under the Softphone Integration settings, locate the Preferred Softphone option.
- Select your desired softphone from the dropdown list. For example, you might choose 'Microsoft Teams'.
Note: If your organization manages this setting centrally, you will see a lock icon ? next to the option, indicating that it cannot be changed by the user.
The Jabra Direct interface displays settings for general preferences and softphone integration. Key settings include 'Allow Notifications', 'Enable Jabra Direct in Tray', and 'Presence Synchronization'.
