Setting Your Preferred Softphone

If you have multiple softphones installed, you can select a preferred softphone application to be used with your Jabra devices. Follow these steps:

Open Jabra Direct.
On the left menu, click Settings.
Navigate to Softphone Integration > Preferred Softphone, and select your desired softphone from the list.

Centralized Settings Management

If your organization manages settings centrally, the preferred softphone option will be indicated by a [lock icon], preventing individual user changes.

Visual Guide Description

The Jabra Direct application's settings screen is displayed. The left navigation pane includes options such as 'Device', 'Bluetooth', 'General Settings', 'Updates', 'Feedback', 'Softphone Integration', and 'Help'. The main content area shows the 'Settings' page. Within the 'Softphone Integration' section, the 'Preferred Softphone' setting is visible. A dropdown menu displays 'Microsoft Teams' as the currently selected softphone. Other settings like 'Allow Notifications', 'Enable Jabra Direct in Tray', and 'Presence Synchronization' are shown with their respective [toggle switch on] indicators.
