Indoor Unit Installation Instructions
The distance between the mounted indoor unit and surrounding structures must meet the following specifications:
1) Ceiling-mounted
The unit should be mounted on a strong and durable ceiling. Clearances required are:
- Minimum 90.6 inches (230cm) from the floor.
- Minimum 7.9 inches (20cm) from the left side.
- Minimum 11.8 inches (30cm) from the right side.
- Minimum 11.8 inches (30cm) from the ceiling.
- Service access should be considered.
2) Wall-mounted
Clearances required for wall-mounted installation are:
- Minimum 15.7 inches (40cm) from the floor.
- Minimum 23.6 inches (60cm) from the floor (for bottom clearance).
- Horizontal clearance range of 23.6 to 70.9 inches (60 to 180cm) is indicated.

Outdoor Unit Installation Instructions
Ensure adequate clearance around the outdoor unit for proper ventilation and service access. Recommended clearances are:
- 20 inches (500mm) or more when the front and sides of the unit are clear.
- 4 inches (100mm) or more for the sides.
- 14 inches (350mm) or more for the rear.
- 20 inches (500mm) or more when any 2 sides (left, right, and rear) of the unit are clear.
