Cleaning Recommendations
Modern faucets consist of various materials. To avoid damage, consider these criteria when cleaning:
Cleaning Instructions
- Clean faucets and showers as needed.
- Adjust cleaning product amount and time based on the product. Do not leave cleaner on longer than necessary.
- Clean regularly to prevent calcification.
- When using spray cleaner, spray onto a cloth or sponge first, not directly onto the tapware.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water after cleaning.
- For hard water and soap scum, use a 50/50 water and vinegar solution.
(Icons indicate: ❌ NEVER SPRAY DIRECTLY ON TAPWARE, ✔️ SPRAY ONTO SPONGE/CLOTH, ✔️ CLEAN REGULARLY, ✔️ RINSE THOROUGHLY WITH CLEAN WATER)
Cleaning Materials to Avoid
Acids are common in cleaning materials for lime removal, but use caution:
- ✔️ Use only cleaning materials explicitly provided for this application.
- ❌ Never use cleaning materials containing hydrochloric, formic, or acetic acid.
- ❌ Phosphoric acid should also be avoided as it can damage the finish.
- ❌ Never mix cleaning materials.
- ❌ Never use abrasive cleaning materials (e.g., scouring pads, industrial cleansers, micro fiber cloths).
