Pairing Your Earbuds

1. Remove the earbuds from the case and peel off the protective stickers. Place the earbuds back into the charging case and plug in the cable.
2. The blue lights on the case indicate 'charging'. Remove the earbuds from the case.
3. One earbud will flash blue/white, indicating it is ready to pair with your device. Select 'JLab Work Buds' in your device's Bluetooth settings.

Choose Your Side: You can swap the placement of the directional microphone in each earbud for optimal call quality. The right earbud is labeled 'R' (right), and the left is labeled 'L' (left).

Finding Your Best Fit

1. Insert the earbud into your ear and twist gently for the best fit. The ear tip should create a seal.
2. Position the directional microphone towards your mouth for clear audio.
3. Try all the included Cush Fin™ and ear tip sizes to find the ones that fit and seal best for comfort and sound quality.

Usage and Storage

Keep the microphone ready for calls or fold it away for travel. Flip the charging case over to securely store the earbuds for travel.

Charging the Earbuds

When placed in the charging case, the earbuds will automatically turn off and begin charging. The earbud LEDs will flash blue while charging and turn off when fully charged. When removed from the case, the earbuds automatically turn on and connect to the last paired device. To turn off without the case, disconnect Bluetooth from your device; the earbuds will turn off after 3 minutes.

Charging the Case

Connect the JLab Work Buds to a computer or device with a USB 5V 1A output (or less) using the provided cable. During charging, the case LEDs flash blue, and when fully charged, they light up solid blue.

Multitouch Mode (Connecting Two Devices)

1. After connecting the FIRST device, turn off Bluetooth in that device's settings. The earbuds will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
2. Go to the Bluetooth settings on your SECOND device and connect to 'JLab Work Buds'.
3. Go back to the Bluetooth settings on your FIRST device. Turn on Bluetooth and connect to 'JLab Work Buds'. Your earbuds are now connected to two devices simultaneously.

EQ Modes

Personalize your audio experience with JLab's EQ3 sound settings. Choose the mode that best suits your activity:

• JLab Signature: Features JLab C3™ sound with amplified vocals and bass. Ideal for most pop, rock, country, and electronic music.
• Balanced: Provides an even sound without additional enhancements. Best for podcasts, audiobooks, and classical music.
• Bass Boost: Amplifies bass and sub-bass frequencies. Perfect for outdoor work, sports, fitness, hip-hop, rap, and electronic music.
• Custom: Allows for personalized EQ settings. Download the JLab app to access and create your custom profiles.

Quick Tips & Voice Prompts

• Each earbud can be used independently. Simply remove one from the case to connect.
• The directional microphone enhances voice quality and reduces background noise, especially in 'Be Aware' mode.
• Proper ear tip fit is crucial for sound quality and a good seal. Experiment with all included ear tips for the best results.

Voice Prompts:

• Power On: Beep
• Bluetooth Connected: Beep
• Low Battery: "Low Battery"
• Power Off: Beep
• When battery level drops to 10%, you will hear the "Low Battery" prompt.

Troubleshooting

No Audio in One Earbud or Earbuds Off (Manual Reset)

1. Store both earbuds in the charging case. On your device, go to Bluetooth settings and 'forget' 'JLab Work Buds'.
2. Quickly tap one earbud 7 times within the charging case. The earbud will flash blue 4 times.
3. Quickly tap the other earbud 7 times within the charging case. That earbud will also flash blue 4 times.
4. Remove both earbuds from the charging case. One earbud will flash blue/white, indicating it is ready to pair with your device.
