Mounting
Select a Location
The camera can be mounted on a wall or similar surface. Choose a location where the solar panel receives unobstructed sunlight. Avoid areas blocked by roofs or dense foliage.
If complete avoidance of obstructions is not possible, try to maximize sunlight exposure. Monitor the camera's battery status via the app. If the camera does not receive sufficient power, it can be charged manually, or an additional solar panel can be connected and positioned in a sunnier spot.

Location Height
For optimal performance, eufy recommends mounting the camera between 1.8 meters and 2.5 meters (approximately 5.9 to 8.2 feet) above ground level.
Selecting a location that provides ample sunlight to the solar panel and offers a clear field of view for the camera is crucial.

Mount the Camera
- Mark Mounting Points: Place the mounting base against the wall or surface where you intend to install the camera. Use a pencil or marker to trace the screw hole locations.
- Drill Holes and Insert Anchors: Drill holes at the marked points. If mounting on hard surfaces like brick or concrete, insert the provided expansion anchors into the holes. For softer surfaces like wood, this step may be skipped.
- Attach Mounting Base: Secure the mounting base to the wall using screws.
- Attach Camera to Base: Align the camera with the mounting base and slide it into place until it is securely attached.
- Secure Camera: Insert and tighten the camera fixing screw at the bottom of the camera to ensure it is firmly fixed to the mounting base.

An additional note indicates that the 15° downward tilt base can also be used.
