Convert to Shower Unit Installation Instructions
Before Beginning Installation
- Flush plumbing lines to clear debris in pipe and plumbing lines to avoid existing clogs into waterway & cartridge system of new faucet fixture.
- Shut off both supply lines after flushing.

Assembly Overview
The diagram shows the components of the Kingston Convert-to-Shower unit. At the top is the Showerhead connected to a Riser. Below the Riser is a Wall Support Bracket with an Anchor and Mounting Screw. Further down, a Coupler connects two sections of Riser. A Rubber Washer is placed within the Coupler. Text labels indicate 'Use Teflon Tape' on the threaded ends of the Risers.
Installation Steps
- Insert the thick rubber washer inside the coupler.
- Apply Teflon tape on both thread ends of up and down risers.
- Thread both up and down risers onto coupler.
- Make sure the rubber washer is properly compressed between the up and down risers. Also, the coupler should be tightly connected; no looseness is allowed.

Warning !!!
If the rubber washer is loose inside the coupler or not compressed, it will not effectively seal the water and will lead to leakage.
