- 2. Stopper Seal: A seal for the stopper mechanism.
- 3. Drain Body / Upper Part: The main threaded body that fits through the sink.
- 4. Rubber Gasket: Used to seal the drain body against the sink opening from below.
- 5. Rubber Gasket: Used to seal the tailpiece connection.
- 6. Washer: A washer used with the lock nut.
- 7. Lock Nut: Secures the drain body to the sink.

Installation Instructions
- Remove the lock nut (7), washer (6) and rubber gasket (5) from the drain body (3).
- Insert the drain assembly (parts 1, 2, 3, 4, 8) downwardly through the drain opening on the bottom of the sink. Ensure the tailpiece (8) and the outer threads of the drain body (3) pass completely through the drain opening and extend beneath the sink.
- Adjust the rubber gasket (4) to fit snugly in the drain opening. Ensure the taper-surface side of the rubber gasket (4) is facing downward.
- Install the rubber gasket (5), washer (6), and lock nut (7) upwardly onto the drain body (3) from the end of the tailpiece (8). Ensure the taper-surface side of the rubber gasket (5) is facing upward.
- Slowly tighten the lock nut (7) with a wrench until the rubber gasket (5) completely and tightly seals the drain opening beneath the sink.
- Remove the tailpiece (8) from the drain body (3). Apply Teflon tape on the thread of the tailpiece (8). Then re-connect it with the drain body (3).
- Push the stopper (1) to the closed position of the drain body (3). Turn on the faucet to fill the sink with water. Examine to ensure no water is leaking from the tailpiece (8).
- Push the stopper (1) to the open position to drain water. Examine to ensure no water leakage around the rubber gasket (5) or the connection with the tailpiece (8). If leakage is found, adjust the rubber gasket (5) and re-tighten the lock nut (7), or re-connect the tailpiece until no more leakage is found.
