This device is contraindicated for pregnant individuals or those with wearable/implantable electronic devices (e.g., pacemakers). It should not be used by individuals who are acutely or chronically ill, suffering from a disease, or taking medications affecting water levels, as accuracy for these conditions is unverified. Seek specific medical advice.

The device may emit electromagnetic energy and can interfere with other electrical equipment. Do not modify the equipment, as this may increase emissions or decrease immunity.

Use the device as per the manual. Misuse can cause electric shock, burns, fire, or other hazards. Store in recommended environments, avoiding extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, moisture, or corrosive conditions.

Do not step on the scale with wet feet. Keep the device out of reach of children and pets. Do not use beyond the device's lifetime, as degraded components may affect performance.

Individuals with stainless steel allergies should avoid contact with the electrodes.

INDICATIONS FOR USE

• The Kinetik Wellbeing Smart Body Analyser Scale measures weight and uses bio-electrical impedance analysis (BIA) technology to estimate body fat and heart rate in generally healthy children 10-17 years old and healthy adults.
• It is intended for use in the domestic setting only.

Tips

For accurate measurements, follow these instructions:

• Place the scale on a flat, hard surface. Soft surfaces like carpet affect performance.
• Step onto the platform with bare feet. Stand still and maintain full contact with the electrodes until measurement is complete.
• Start measurement at least two hours after waking up or eating.
• Avoid measuring immediately after strenuous exercise, sauna, bath, drinking, or dining.
• Always measure at the same time of day and on the same scale placed on the same flat, hard surface for maximum accuracy and repeatability.
• Skin condition on feet can affect readings. Ensure feet are clean and slightly damp for best accuracy. Contact customer service if you encounter issues.
• Body fat percentage estimates can vary due to water levels, affected by dehydration, over-hydration, alcohol, menstruation, illness, or intense exercise.

LED Display

The LED display shows various information:

• 8888: Indicates the scale is ready or in a specific mode.
• Bluetooth Connection Indication (?): Shows Bluetooth connectivity status.
• Resting Heart Rate Result (❤️): Displays the measured heart rate.
• Units: Pound (lb) and Kilogram (kg) are displayed.

Initial Start-Up

General Instructions

The Kinetik Wellbeing Smart Body Analyser Scale BTS200 uses BIA technology, passing a small, imperceptible current through the body to estimate body fat and heart rate. This technology is safe, non-invasive, and provides abundant information. The current is less than 0.5mA. Individuals with pacemakers or other implantable medical electronic instruments should not use this device. It is intended for healthy children aged 10-17 and healthy adults.

Insert the Batteries

1. Open the battery door on the back of the scale.

2. Insert four 1.5V AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity as marked inside the compartment. The display will show "8888".

3. Close the battery door. The scale initializes, showing "ZEro" [Zero display symbol], then "000.0" lb [Zero weight display symbol]. The scale will shut down in 30 seconds without measurement.

CAUTION (Batteries)

• When "Lo" [Low battery symbol] appears, replace all four batteries simultaneously. Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Worn batteries are hazardous waste. Dispose of them according to local ordinances and recycling instructions.
• If storing the unit for a prolonged period, remove the batteries.
• Do not mix battery types (alkaline, carbon-zinc, rechargeable).

Pairing

Pair-Up

The scale utilizes advanced Bluetooth 5.0 technology to connect with mobile devices equipped with Bluetooth, adhering to BLE Technical Specifications and BLP Protocol. This allows for the reception of personal health data.

Install the 'Smart Weight Diary by MedM' or 'MedM Health' app and pair your scale to enjoy a comprehensive health solution.

Note: The app requires devices supporting Bluetooth 5.0 or above.

To connect, ensure the scale is powered on.

Pairing Phone to Scales

1. Download the 'Smart Weight Diary by MedM' app or the 'MedM Health' app from your app store or Google Play.
2. Install the app and register an account.
3. Enable Bluetooth and the MedM app on your smart device. Ensure both are ON during pairing.
4. In the app, select the menu (top left corner) and then 'My Devices'.
5. At the bottom of the screen, select 'Add New'. The app will automatically scan for a new device.
6. While scanning, turn on your scales by standing on them (or applying weight). Ensure batteries are inserted.
7. When detected, select 'Kinetik BTS200'.
8. You will be asked if you want to receive data automatically. Select 'Yes' to transmit and store weighing sessions automatically, or 'No' to input results manually.

Start Measuring

Select Measurement Unit

With batteries installed, press the "UNIT" button on the back of the scale to select the measurement unit. The default is "lb" (pound). Press the button again to choose between pounds and kilograms.

Daily Measurement

With the original SENSE ON patent technology, the BTS200 activates when you step onto the platform barefooted. Stand still, maintaining full contact with the electrodes, until the LED stops blinking digits. The display will show your weight, for example, "68.05" kg [Weight display example].

Heart Rate Measurement

The heart rate measurement is controlled via the app and is ON by default. If disabled in the app, only weight will be shown. When active, after the scale locks the weight, it measures heart rate, displaying "----" [Measuring in progress symbol] during the process. The result is shown after completion, followed by weight and heart rate. Detailed results are automatically sent to the app.

Small Items Measurement

For items weighing between 0.15-9.95kg, the scale enters small items weighing mode. The scale will not lock the weight. If the item is removed, the scale returns to zero. Example displays: "00.51" kg, "00.00" kg [Small items display example].

Manage Your Health

Data Transmission

Once successfully paired with your smartphone, measurement data from the BTS200 is transmitted via Bluetooth. A success symbol (⭐) [Bluetooth transmission success symbol] indicates data has been sent, allowing you to view your health data in the app. If data transmission fails, the symbol (❌) [Bluetooth transmission failure symbol] will not appear. Pending data is temporarily stored on the scale and transmitted during the next successful measurement.

CAUTION (Interference)

Interference may occur with equipment marked with a specific symbol. The Analyser may interfere with electrical equipment nearby. To ensure reliable data transmission:

1. Keep the range between the Analyser and the Bluetooth device reasonably close (1-10 meters), ensuring no obstacles for a quality connection.
2. To avoid interference, keep other electronic devices (especially those with Bluetooth transmission) at least 1 meter away from the Analyser.

Please refer to the above table for the descriptions on accuracy. This product is specially designed for body fat analysis as well as weight measurement. It should NOT be used by anyone during the process of transaction for verification of goods' weight.

Maintenance

Maintenance

Follow these Do's and Don'ts for usual maintenance:

• DO use a dry soft cloth to wipe the dust.
• DO use a wet soft cloth, dipped into water and wrung out, to wipe the dirt. Then use a dry soft cloth to dry up the device.
• DON'T wash the device with water or immerse it in water.
• DON'T use propellant, abrasive or other chemicals to wipe the dirt in avoidance of discolor or malfunction.
• DON'T disassemble this device. If you have any problems, please contact Kinetik Wellbeing. (Please refer to Warranty for contact information)

Warranty

Kinetik Wellbeing warrants its products free of defects in materials and workmanship in normal use for a period of ONE year from the date of retail purchase.

This warranty does NOT cover damages caused by misuse or abuse, including but not limited to:

• Failure caused by unauthorised repairs or modifications.
• Damage caused by shock or drop during transportation.
• Failure caused by improper operation inconsistent with the instructions stated in this user manual.
• Malfunction or damage from failure to provide the recommended maintenance.
• Damage caused by improper use of power supply.

Should this device require maintenance (or replacement at our option) under warranty, please deliver the original package Kinetik Wellbeing. Please return the store receipt (with the retail purchase date) and a note with reasons to return on it as well.
