Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures strong suction.
Filter Maintenance
To access the foam and felt filters, remove the dust cup. Press down on the top of the filter door, tilt it, and lift it out. To remove the HEPA filter, press the tab at its top and pull it away from the vacuum base.
To reinstall, insert the HEPA filter into the unit and replace the filter door.
Wash filters every 3 months. Rinse filters with water only and allow them to air-dry completely. Tap loose dirt from foam filters as needed between washes.
Brushroll Access
To access the brushroll area for cleaning, use a coin to turn the locks. Lift the cover open to clear any debris from the intake.
Floor Cleaning
Your vacuum offers two cleaning modes for different floor types:
- Hard Floor: Press the switch to position 'I' for hard floor surfaces.
- Carpet: Press the switch to position 'II' for low and high pile carpet cleaning.
Suction Control: Adjust suction based on your floor type. Use 'MIN' to reduce suction and increase maneuverability on carpets. Use 'MAX' to increase suction on bare floors.
To engage the brushroll, step on the floor nozzle and tilt the handle back.
Above-Floor Cleaning
For cleaning areas above the floor:
- To clean above-floor areas, remove the handle from the wand. For greater reach, remove the wand from the pod.
- Attach the desired cleaning accessory to the handle or wand.
