First Setup: Pairing via Bluetooth

1. Turn on Bluetooth in your device's settings.

2. Press and hold the button for 10 seconds.

   Release the button.

   The indicator light will flash red and blue, indicating pairing mode.

3. Select "JLab JBuds Band" in your device's Bluetooth settings to connect.

   The indicator light will slowly flash blue during Bluetooth pairing.

Re-use

Once the JLab JBuds Band is paired with your device initially, the earbuds will automatically connect to your device via Bluetooth when powered on again. (Follow Button Functions instructions).

Button Functions

• Volume Up: Single press
• Next Track: Press and hold for more than 2 seconds
• Power On / Power Off: Press and hold for more than 2 seconds
• Play / Pause / Answer Call / Hang Up Call: Single press
• Reject Incoming Call: Press and hold for 1 second
• Activate Siri (iOS) or "OK Google" (Android): Double press
• Pairing via Bluetooth: (Follow the procedure for First Setup: Pairing via Bluetooth)
• Volume Down: Single press
• Previous Track: Press and hold for more than 2 seconds

Equalizer Modes

Quickly press both buttons for different EQ settings (JLab JBuds Band will cycle through 3 EQ settings).

• JLab Signature (One Sound Cue): Characteristic JLab C3™™ sound with vocal emphasis and bass.
• Ausgewogen (Two Sound Cues): Balanced sound with no extra sound boosts.
• Bass Boost (Three Sound Cues): Amplified bass and sub-bass.

Voice Prompts

• Power On: Beep
• Bluetooth Connected: 2 Beeps
• Low Battery: "Low battery" (less than 20%)
• Power Off: Beep

Charging

1. Open the USB cover and connect the cable to a computer or USB power source to charge the device.

2. The indicator light will remain solid red during charging and will turn blue when the device is fully charged.

Fitting

1. Choose your ear tip size.

2. Position the earbud in your ear with the adjustable ear tip placement.

   Adjustable Ear Tip Placement:

   • Position 1: Snug, deeper
   • Position 2: Loose, shallower

3. Place the neckband around your neck with the controls on the right side.

Troubleshooting Connection Issues

Cannot See JLab JBuds Band on My Device

1. In your device's settings, turn Bluetooth off and then back on.

2. If you still cannot see the JLab JBuds Band, repeat the steps for FIRST SETUP: PAIRING VIA BLUETOOTH.

JLab JBuds Band Not Reconnecting After Power On

1. In your device's settings, select the option to forget the JLab JBuds Band device.

2. In your device's settings, turn Bluetooth off and then back on.

3. Repeat the steps for FIRST SETUP: PAIRING VIA BLUETOOTH.

Bluetooth Connecting to Unwanted Device

Note: The JLab JBuds Band can remember up to 8 devices. It will attempt to automatically connect to the last device used.

1. If you have multiple devices connected to the JLab JBuds Band, turn off Bluetooth on the devices you do not wish to use, and turn on Bluetooth on the desired device.

2. Press and hold the button for 10 seconds.

   Release the button.

   The indicator light will flash red and blue, indicating pairing mode.

3. Select "JLab JBuds Band" in your device's Bluetooth settings to connect.

   The indicator light will slowly flash blue during Bluetooth pairing.

Warnings

Ensure the USB cover is closed and secured. This protects against sweat and water damage.

The JLab JBuds Band earbuds must be completely dry before charging. Exposure to moisture may damage internal components. It is best to air dry them before charging.

Caution

• Avoid getting moisture or liquid into the ear tip or charging port.
• Avoid extreme heat, cold, and humidity.
• Avoid dropping or crushing the earbuds, straining the cable with rapid pulling or extreme force, or bending the cable at sharp angles.
• Earwax may accumulate on the ear tips, causing reduced sound quality. Clean the earwax carefully with a cotton swab or small tool to restore sound quality.
• If you experience discomfort or pain, try lowering the volume or temporarily stop using the earbuds.
• If you experience persistent discomfort during the use of this product, discontinue use and consult a physician.
