First Time Setup: Bluetooth Pairing

Step 1: Enable Bluetooth
Turn on Bluetooth in your device's settings.

Step 2: Enter Pairing Mode
Press and hold the button for 10 seconds. Release. A light will flash red and blue to indicate pairing mode.

Step 3: Connect to Device
Select "JLab JBuds Band" in your Bluetooth device settings to connect. A blue light will flash slower when Bluetooth is paired.

Recurring Use
Once the JLab JBuds Band has initially paired with your device, the earbuds will automatically connect to the Bluetooth device when you turn them ON again. (Follow the instructions for BUTTON FUNCTIONS.)
Button Functions
- Volume Up: Click once.
- Next Track: Press and hold for over 2 seconds.
- Power On/Off: Press and hold for 2 seconds.
- Play/Pause/Answer Call: Click once.
- End Call: Click once.
- Reject Incoming Call: Press and hold for 1 second.
- Activate Siri (iOS) or "OK Google" (Android): Double-click.
- Bluetooth Pairing: Refer to the first-time setup: Bluetooth pairing instructions.
- Volume Down: Click once.
- Previous Track: Press and hold for over 2 seconds.
Equalizer (EQ) Mode
Press the button 3 times for different EQ settings (the JBuds Band will cycle through 3 EQ settings).
- JLab Signature Mode (One Beep): JLab C3™ signature sound with boosted voice and bass.
- Balanced Mode (Two Beeps): Balanced sound without additional adjustments.
- Bass Boost Mode (Three Beeps): Amplified bass and sub-bass.
Audio Cues
- Power On: Beep.
- Connected to Bluetooth: Two Beeps.
- Low Battery: "Low battery" voice prompt (below 20%).
- Power Off: Beep.
Charging

Step 1: Connect Charger
Open the USB port cover and connect the cable to a computer or USB power source for charging.

Step 2: Charging Status
A red light will stay on while charging and turn blue when fully charged.

Fit Adjustment

Step 1: Choose Ear Tip Size
Select the appropriate ear tip size for a comfortable fit.

Step 2: Adjust Earbud Position
Move the earbud to the desired position using the adjustable earbud placement.

Step 3: Wear Neckband
Place the neckband around your neck with the controls on the right side.

ATP (Adjustable Earbud Placement)
- Position 1: Comfortable, deeper fit.
- Position 2: Relaxed, shallower fit.
Connection Troubleshooting
Can't See JLab JBuds Band on My Device

Turn off Bluetooth and then go to your device's settings.

JLab JBuds Band Won't Reconnect to My Device After Turning On

In your device's settings, select "Forget JLab JBuds Band".

Turn off Bluetooth and then go to your device's settings.

Repeat the FIRST TIME SETUP: BLUETOOTH PAIRING instructions.

Bluetooth is Connecting to an Unwanted Device
Note: JLab JBuds Band can remember up to 8 devices. It will try to automatically connect to the last used device.

If more than one device was previously connected to JLab JBuds Band, turn OFF Bluetooth on the unwanted devices and turn ON Bluetooth on the selected device.

Press and hold the button for 10 seconds. Release. A light will flash red and blue to indicate pairing mode. Select "JLab JBuds Band" in your device settings to connect. A blue light will flash slower when Bluetooth is paired.

Caution
- Ensure the USB port cover is closed and secure. This protects it from sweat and water damage. [Visual: USB port cover closed]
- Before charging, the JLab JBuds Band headphones must be completely dry. Exposure to moisture can damage internal components. Before charging, it is best to let them air dry. [Visual: Earbuds air drying]
Warning
- Avoid moisture or liquid entering the earbud tip or charging port.
- Avoid extreme heat, cold, and humidity.
- Avoid dropping or crushing the earbuds, yanking the cable quickly or with excessive force, or bending the cable at sharp angles.
- Earwax may build up on the ear tips, reducing sound quality. Carefully remove earwax with a cotton swab or small tool to improve sound quality.
- If you experience discomfort or pain, try lowering the volume or stop using them temporarily.
- If you regularly experience discomfort while using this product, discontinue use and consult your doctor.
- We recommend treating the earbuds like sunglasses, keeping them in a safe place when not in use.
