First-Time Setup: Bluetooth Pairing
Follow these steps to pair your JLab BT earbuds with your device:
Step 1: Activate Bluetooth
Activate Bluetooth in your device's settings.

Step 2: Enter Pairing Mode
Press and hold the button on the earbuds for 10 seconds. Release. The indicator light will blink red and blue, indicating the device is in pairing mode.

Step 3: Connect to Device
Select "JLab BT" in your device's Bluetooth settings to connect. The indicator light will blink slowly blue when the Bluetooth connection is complete.

Reconnecting
Once paired, your JLab BT earbuds will automatically connect to your Bluetooth device the next time they are turned ON.
Button Functions
Control your audio and calls with these button functions:
- Volume Up: Single click.
- Next Track: Click and hold for at least 2 seconds.
- Power On: Click and hold for 3 seconds.
- Power Off: Click and hold for 5 seconds.
- Play/Pause/Answer/End Call: Single click.
- Activate Voice Assistant (Siri/Google Assistant): Double click.
- Volume Down: Single click.
- Previous Track: Click and hold for at least 2 seconds.
Equalizer (EQ) Modes
Quickly press both buttons to cycle through EQ modes:
- JLab SIGNATURE (One Pip): JLab C3™ signature sound with enhanced vocals and bass.
- BALANCED (Two Pips): Even sound without extra sound enhancements.
- BASS BOOST (Three Pips): Enhanced bass and sub-bass.
Audio Prompts
Listen for audio cues:
- Power On: Chime
- Bluetooth Connected: 2 pips
- Low Battery: "Low Battery" (less than 20%)
- Power Off: Chime
Charging
Step 1: Connect Charger
Open the USB cover and connect the cable to a computer or a USB charger. Ensure the charger is rated at 5V or less.

Step 2: Charging Indicator
The indicator light will be red while charging and turn blue when charging is complete.

Fitting Your Earbuds
Achieve the best fit and sound quality:
Step 1: Attach Cush Fin and Ear Tip
First, attach the Cush Fin, then the ear tip. Note: Styles and options may vary.

Step 2: Adjust Cush Fin
Rotate your Cush Fins to the desired position for a secure fit.

Step 3: Find Best Fit
Try different ear tips and Cush Fins to find the best possible fit and comfort.
Using the Cable Clip
Step 1: Attach Clip
Attach the cable clip near the middle of the cable.

Step 2: Secure to Clothing
Clip it to the back or front of your shirt for stability.

Troubleshooting
JLab BT Not Appearing on My Device
Step 1: Toggle Bluetooth
Turn Bluetooth off and then on again in your device's settings.

Step 2: Re-attempt Pairing
If JLab BT still does not appear, repeat the instructions for First-Time Setup: Bluetooth Pairing.
JLab BT Will Not Connect Again When Turned On
Step 1: Forget Device
Forget "JLab BT" in your device's Bluetooth settings.

Step 2: Toggle Bluetooth
Turn Bluetooth off and then on again in your device's settings.
Step 3: Re-attempt Pairing
Repeat the instructions for First-Time Setup: Bluetooth Pairing.
Bluetooth Connects to an Unwanted Device
JLab BT can remember up to 8 devices and will automatically try to connect to the most recently used one.
Step 1: Disconnect Unwanted Devices
If multiple devices are paired, turn OFF Bluetooth on the unwanted devices. Then, turn ON Bluetooth on the device you wish to use.

Step 2: Re-enter Pairing Mode
Press and hold the button for 10 seconds. Release. The indicator light will blink red and blue.
Step 3: Connect to Desired Device
Select "JLab BT" in your device's Bluetooth settings to connect. The indicator light will blink slowly blue when the connection is complete.
Warnings and Care
- Ensure the USB cover is closed and sealed to protect against sweat and water damage.
- Always ensure the JLab BT earbuds are completely dry before charging. Moisture can damage internal components. Air dry them before charging.
- Avoid getting moisture or liquid on the earbud tips or charging port.
- Avoid extreme heat, cold, and humidity.
- Do not drop, crush, or pull/bend the cables forcefully.
- Clean earwax buildup gently with a cotton swab or small tool to maintain sound quality.
- If you experience discomfort, lower the volume or take a break from using the earbuds.
- If discomfort persists, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
- Treat your earbuds with care, similar to fine sunglasses, and store them safely when not in use.
