First-Time Setup: Bluetooth Pairing
Step 1: Enable Bluetooth
On your device, navigate to Settings and turn on Bluetooth. ?

Step 2: Enter Pairing Mode
Press and hold the button on the earbuds for 10 seconds, then release. The indicator light will flash red and blue, indicating pairing mode.

Step 3: Connect to Device
In your device's Bluetooth settings, select 'JLab BT' to connect. Once paired, the indicator light will slowly flash blue.

Auto-Connection
The JLab BT earbuds will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when turned on. Refer to the 'Button Functions' section for detailed instructions.
Button Functions
- Volume Up: Tap once.
- Fast Forward / Next Track: Press and hold for 2+ seconds.
- Power On: Press and hold for 3 seconds. [Power symbol]
- Power Off: Press and hold for 5 seconds. [Power symbol]
- Play/Pause & Answer/End Call: Tap once. [Play/Pause symbol]
- Activate Voice Assistant (Siri/Google Assistant): Double tap. [Voice Assistant symbol]
- Bluetooth Pairing: Refer to 'First-Time Setup: Bluetooth Pairing'.
- Volume Down: Tap once.
- Rewind / Previous Track: Press and hold for 2+ seconds.
Equalizer (EQ) Modes
Quickly press both buttons to cycle through EQ presets.
- JLab Signature (Single Beep): Enhanced vocals and bass.
- Balanced (Two Beeps): Balanced sound with additional enhancements.
- Bass Boost (Three Beeps): Enhanced bass and sub-bass.
Audio Prompts
- Power On: Chime
- Connected: Two beeps
- Low Battery: Voice prompt 'Low Battery' (below 20%)
- Power Off: Chime
Charging
Step 1: Connect Charger
Open the USB port cover and connect the charging cable to a computer or USB power source. Ensure the power source is rated 5V or lower.

Charging Indicator
The light will turn solid red while charging and turn blue when charging is complete.

Earbud Fit
Step 1: Attach Cush Fin™ and Ear Tip
Attach the Cush Fin™ first, then the gel ear tip. Note: Styles and options may vary.

Step 2: Position Cush Fins™
Rotate the Cush Fins™ to achieve the most comfortable and secure fit.

Try various ear tips and Cush Fins™ to find the best fit for your ears.

Cable Clip Usage
Step 1: Attach Clip
Attach the cable clip near the center of the cable.

Step 2: Secure Cable
Clip the cable to the back or front of your shirt for secure placement.

Troubleshooting
JLab BT Not Visible on Device
- On your device, turn Bluetooth off and then back on.
- If JLab BT is still not visible, repeat the 'First-Time Setup: Bluetooth Pairing' instructions.
JLab BT Not Reconnecting After Power On
- On your device, go to Bluetooth settings and select 'Forget' or 'Unpair' for JLab BT.
- Turn Bluetooth off and then back on.
- Repeat the 'First-Time Setup: Bluetooth Pairing' instructions.
Bluetooth Device Connecting to Unwanted Device
Note: JLab BT can remember up to 8 paired devices. It attempts to automatically connect to the most recently used device.
- If multiple devices are paired, turn off Bluetooth on the unwanted devices and turn on Bluetooth on the device you wish to connect to.
- Press and hold the button for 10 seconds, then release. The indicator light will flash red and blue for pairing mode. Select 'JLab BT' in your device's Bluetooth settings. Once paired, the light will slowly flash blue.
WARNINGS
- Ensure the USB port cover is securely closed to protect against sweat and water damage.
- Allow JLab BT earbuds to dry completely before charging. Exposure to moisture can damage internal components. It is best practice to ensure they are dry before charging.
CAUTIONS
- Prevent moisture or liquids from entering the earbud casing.
- Avoid exposure to extreme heat, cold, and humidity.
- Do not drop, crush, pull the cable forcefully, or bend it at sharp angles.
- Dirt buildup in the earbud housing can degrade sound quality. Clean gently with a cotton swab or a small tool to maintain optimal sound.
- If you experience discomfort or pain, try reducing the volume or discontinuing use temporarily.
- If you experience persistent discomfort, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
- Store your earbuds safely when not in use, similar to how you would protect your favorite sunglasses.
