Fitting Instructions
- Remove the towing eye from the right hand chassis.
- Remove the two bolts securing the rear exhaust hanger and one pop rivet on the heat shield. (The exhaust hanger is not re-fitted with the towbar).
- Using item D with item E, bolt item A to the existing captive nuts in each chassis member.
- NOTE: Bolt item B to the forward left hand bolt to reattach the heat shield with the rivet supplied (item F).
- Re-fit the exhaust onto the mounting point provided.
- Using item C, bolt the ball bracket and wiring plate (not supplied in this kit) to the mounting plate.
- Fully tighten all nuts and bolts and ensure the towbar is rigid and secure.
