Fitting Instructions
- Remove the central part of the bumper. (Four fixings along the bottom edge and four fixings along the top edge).
- Remove the metal beam (three fixings each side) this is not re-fitted.
- From inside the vehicle remove the rubber grommet each side above the chassis members. From the underside remove the plastic plugs. Remove all the mastic from around all fixing points.
- Using item H with item K loosely bolt item A to the upper existing holes in the rear panel.
- Using item H with item K loosely bolt item C to item A, and to the rear panel.
- Using item G with item L bolt item C to the chassis.
- Locate item D into the existing holes in each chassis member and using item F with item J between item B and the chassis and item M inside the vehicle, loosely bolt item B into place.
- Using item G with item L bolt item B to item A.
- Fully tighten all nuts and bolts and ensure the towbar is rigid and secure.
- Cut the bumper centrally 50mm wide x 140mm deep. Trim to suit, if required, and refit bumper.
- Using item E bolt the ball bracket and wiring plate (not supplied in this kit) to the mounting plate.
