Links to download the app are available for both the App Store and Google Play.

Step 2: Register a Lumary Account

Enter your email address and password to log into the App. Ensure you select your correct region and country.

Step 3: Connect the Device

Note: Lumary's products cannot connect to 5GHz networks.

Steps:

  1. Enable Bluetooth to easily add Wi-Fi devices.
  2. When the device is powered on without a network connection, confirm the light is breathing or blinking in pairing mode.
  3. Open the Lumary App. In the top corner of the Devices screen, click "+" and select "Add Device" to confirm the device is paired.
  4. If the device is not pairing, use the wall switch to reset: turn it on-off-on-off-on.

The "Enter Wi-Fi Information" screen prompts you to choose your Wi-Fi network and enter the password. It displays "Linksys" as the network and "Linksys&2022" as the password. A note indicates "This isn't 5GHz networks." The "Add Device" screen shows multiple "Lumary Wall Washer Light" entries with "Added successfully".

Troubleshooting

1. Cannot connect to Wi-Fi network

Ensure the correct Wi-Fi password was entered during setup. Check for internet connection problems. If the Wi-Fi signal is weak, reset your Wi-Fi router and try again.

2. Binding failure

You may need two phones: one to set up a hotspot and the other to connect to the hotspot and add the device via the app. If the device is successfully added, the issue might be with your router's MAC and DHCP restrictions. Lumary products do not support 5GHz networks.

App Functions for You

The Lumary App offers five main sections: On/Off, Colour, Scene, Music, and Plan.

3.1. On/Off

This function acts as an analog key switch to control the entire set of string lights.

The "Lumary Wall Washer Light" screen shows a grid of lights, with controls for "Colour" and "White" modes, a "Value" slider (100%), and navigation buttons for "Dimmer", "Scene", "Music", and "Other".

3.2. Colour

After successful connection, this screen allows color selection. It features 3 icons and 1 digital display.

The Colour UI page displays icons for "Select all colors", "Individual bulb control color", and "Individual light bulb control turn off".

3.3. Scene

There are 54 scene modes, categorized into Mood (12), Festival (21), Life (8), Colour (5), Scenery (8), and Collection (8). You can edit and bookmark DIY scenes. After editing, preview and save. Saved DIY scenes will appear the next time you open this page.

The Scene screen shows categories like "recommend", "collect", "custom", and tabs for "Mood", "Festival", "Life", "Color". It displays various pre-set scenes like "In riotous profusion", "Dazzling", "Gorgeous", "Blue sky", "Ocean", "Sunflower", etc. Another screen shows an "Add" button for creating custom scenes.

3.4. Music Rhythm

When the music rhythm mode is active, the light string will synchronize with music. This can be achieved by playing music from a connected music app or by the device picking up ambient sounds through the phone's microphone. If you exit music rhythm mode, the synchronization stops.

The Music Rhythm screen offers "Local mode" and "App mode". "Local mode" uses the device microphone, while "App mode" uses the phone's microphone. Options include "Rock", "Jazz", "Classic", "Music rhythm", "Game", and "Romantic".

3.5. Plan

This feature allows users to set custom on/off times for the string lights daily. The screen shows "Countdown" and "Timing" options, with a note about potential timing errors of about 30 seconds. It also includes device settings like "Device Information", "Tap-to-Run and Automation", "Offline Notification", "Share Device", "Create Group", "FAQ & Feedback", "Add to Home Screen", "Check Device Network", and "Device Update".

2. Create Group

Click "Create Group", select the devices you want to group, and save. Devices in the same group can be controlled together.

3. Name and Save Group

You can reset the group name and save it. The group can then be used to control devices. The app interface shows a "Create Group" screen where devices can be added and named.
