- Output Jack: Connect to your amplifier's input or other effects.

- Footswitch: Press to engage or disengage the effect.

Placement and Setup
The Chthonic Fuzz is designed to be placed first in your effects chain to interact with guitar pickups and volume control. For best results, slightly reduce your guitar's volume. Turning the guitar volume to 7 or 8 allows the Chthonic to clean up to a nice overdrive, while a setting of 5 yields sparkling clean tones. The pedal is sensitive to cable capacitance, so use the shortest possible cable to the input. Avoid placing buffered pedals before the Chthonic, as this can affect the tone.
To set up, start with all controls at their center (12:00) position. Adjust to taste. If the sound is too extreme, reduce the Fuzz and Lustre controls. Optimal settings depend on your instrument's output, amplifier, and playing style.

Safety and Compliance
General Warnings: This equipment contains symbols indicating potential hazards. A lightning bolt with an arrow signifies dangerous voltages inside [High Voltage Warning ⚡]. An exclamation mark indicates that the user should consult the manual [Consult Manual ?]. There are no user-serviceable parts inside; do not open or attempt to service. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel. Opening the chassis voids the manufacturer's warranty. Do not expose the unit to liquid; if spillage occurs, unplug immediately and seek service. Unplug the unit during thunderstorms to prevent damage.
Altitude: This product is intended for use at low altitudes; do not use above 2000 meters [Altitude Limit ⛰️2000m].
UK Mains Plug Safety: A cut-off mains plug is unsafe. Dispose of it properly. Never insert a damaged or cut mains plug into a 13 Amp socket. Do not use without the fuse cover. Replacement fuse covers and 13 Amp fuses (ASTA approved to BS1362) are available from local dealers.
Disposal: Do not mix this product with household waste. It must be collected separately for proper treatment, recovery, and recycling according to WEEE regulations. For disposal in EU countries, Switzerland, and Norway, return to designated collection points or retailers. For other countries, contact local authorities for proper disposal methods to prevent potential negative environmental and health effects.
Usage Precautions: Read and keep these instructions. Heed all warnings and follow all instructions. Do not use the apparatus near water. Clean only with a dry cloth. For indoor use only. Do not block ventilation openings; install according to manufacturer's instructions. Do not install near heat sources like radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other heat-producing apparatus (including amplifiers). Use only manufacturer-specified attachments and accessories.
Power Cord Safety: Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, especially at plugs, receptacles, and where it exits the unit. Use only with a stand, tripod, or table specified by the manufacturer or sold with the unit. Exercise caution when moving equipment on carts to avoid tip-over injuries.
Servicing: Refer servicing to qualified personnel. Servicing is required if the unit is damaged in any way, including the power cord or plug, if liquid has spilled or objects have fallen into the unit, if the unit has been exposed to rain or moisture, if it is not operating normally, or if it has been dropped.
Power Switch: The power switch on this unit does not disconnect it from the mains supply. Ensure the plug is readily operable. For installations where the plug is inaccessible, a mains switch with a contact separation of at least 3mm in all poles must be incorporated into the electrical installation.
Mains Connection: WARNING: THIS APPARATUS MUST BE CONNECTED TO A MAINS SOCKET WITH PROTECTIVE EARTH [Ground Symbol ⏚].
Wiring: The mains supply cord wires are colored as follows: GREEN AND YELLOW – EARTH, BLUE – NEUTRAL, BROWN – LIVE. If the wire colors in your mains cable do not match the terminal markings in your plug, connect as follows: GREEN AND YELLOW wire to terminal E (or Earth symbol ⏚, or GREEN, or GREEN AND YELLOW). BLUE wire to terminal N (or BLACK). BROWN wire to terminal L (or RED). This equipment may require a different mains cable, plug, or both, depending on the available power source. Consult qualified service personnel for plug changes. The GREEN/YELLOW wire will be connected directly to the unit's chassis.
WARNING: IF PROPERLY GROUNDED, CERTAIN FAULTS IN THE UNIT OR SYSTEM MAY RESULT IN FULL MAINS VOLTAGE BETWEEN THE CHASSIS AND GROUND. SEVERE INJURY OR DEATH MAY OCCUR IF THE CHASSIS AND GROUND ARE TOUCHED SIMULTANEOUSLY.
