How it Works

Headset Controls

The headset features an LED indicator, a Power/Volume+ button, a Volume- button, a USB-C charging port, and a Multifunction button.

Power On/Off

To turn on: Press and hold the Power/Volume+ button until the LED indicator blinks blue. Audrey will say: "Welcome to Shokz".

To turn off: Press and hold the Power/Volume+ button until the LED indicator blinks red. Audrey will say: "Power off".

Pairing

1. Start with the OpenRun turned off.
2. Press and hold the Power/Volume+ button until the LED indicator blinks red and blue alternately.
3. Open your device's Bluetooth settings and select "OpenRun by Shokz". Audrey will say: "Connected".

How to Wear

Hold the headset, bring it behind your neck, place the hooks over your ears, and enjoy your music!

Note: Wearing the headset incorrectly may be uncomfortable. The transducers should be placed in front of your ears.

Volume

Use the volume controls during audio playback.

How to adjust volume: While listening to music, adjust the headset volume by pressing the Volume+ or Volume- buttons.

Notes:
* When the volume is at maximum, the headset will emit a "beep".
* Listening at high volumes can affect your hearing and distort sound. ⚠️

Multifunction Button

Note: This applies only to phone calls, not online calls.

Check Battery Status

Use controls when no audio is playing.

How to check battery status: Click the Volume+ or Volume- button while the music is paused. Audrey will inform you of the battery status: "Battery high/Battery medium/Battery low/Charge me".

Additional Features

Equalizer Modes

Standard Mode: Balanced frequency for music listening. (Description: Sound waves emanating from an ear.)

Voice Mode: Enhanced mid-frequencies for audiobooks, podcasts, and more. (Description: Sound waves emanating from a mouth.)

Change Equalizer Mode

Use controls during music playback.

How to change equalizer mode: Press and hold both the Power/Arrêt/Volume+ button and the Volume- button during music playback until you hear a beep. Audrey will say: "EQ change".

Multipoint Pairing

Pair two devices. Seamlessly switch between devices with the multipoint pairing function. (Description: Icons of a laptop and a smartphone with Bluetooth symbols.)

Multipoint Pairing Steps

  1. Start with your headset turned off.
  2. Press and hold the Volume+ button until Audrey says "Pairing" and the LED indicator blinks red and blue alternately.
  3. Press and hold the Multifunction button and the Volume+ button until Audrey says "Multipoint enabled".
  4. Access the Bluetooth menu of the first device and select "OpenRun by Shokz". Audrey will say: "Connected".
  5. Turn off your headset.
  6. Re-enter pairing mode by holding the Volume+ button until Audrey says "Pairing" and the LED indicator blinks red and blue alternately.
  7. Access the Bluetooth menu of the second device and select "OpenRun by Shokz". Audrey will say: "Connected".
  8. Turn off your headset.
  9. Turn on your earphones. Your headset is now connected to both devices. Audrey will say: "Welcome to Shokz, connected. Second device connected."

Disable Multipoint Pairing

1. Start with your headset turned off.
2. Press and hold the Volume+ button until Audrey says "Pairing" and the LED indicator blinks red and blue alternately.
3. Press and hold the Multifunction button and the Volume- button until Audrey says "Multipoint enabled".

Restore Factory Settings

Use controls when the headset is turned off.

1. Start with your headset turned off.
2. Press and hold the Volume+ button until Audrey says "Pairing" and the LED indicator blinks red and blue alternately.
3. Press and hold the Multifunction button, the Volume- button, and the Volume+ button until you hear two beeps and feel a vibration.
4. Turn off your headset. OpenRun is now reset and can be paired to your device again.

Change Language

Your headset supports four built-in languages: Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean.

Follow the instructions when the earphones are turned off.

1. Start with your headset turned off.
2. Press and hold the Volume+ button until Audrey says "Pairing" and the LED indicator blinks red and blue alternately.
3. Double press the Multifunction button. The language choice is made when you hear the corresponding language.

Maintenance

Charging Tips

The headset turns off automatically when charging.

When the headset battery is low, the message "Charge me" is displayed and the red LED blinks intermittently. Use the corresponding USB-C charging cable to charge. Once charging, the LED indicator turns red and the headset turns off automatically. When charging is complete, the LED indicator changes from red to blue.
