Download the Shokz app to easily set up your earphones. You can manage multipoint pairing, upgrade firmware, and change equalizer modes.

Earphone Operation Method

Power On/Off

To power on the earphones: Press and hold the Power/Volume+ button until the LED indicator turns blue. You will hear the voice prompt 'Welcome to Shokz'.
To power off the earphones: Press and hold the Power/Volume+ button until the LED indicator turns red. You will hear the voice prompt 'Powering off'.
Pairing
1. Ensure the OpenRun Pro is powered off.
2. Press and hold the Volume+ button until the LED indicator flashes red and blue alternately and you hear the voice prompt 'Pairing mode'.

3. Open your device's Bluetooth settings and select 'OpenRun Pro by Shokz'. You will hear the voice prompt 'Connected'.
Wearing Method

Hold the earphones and place them behind your neck. Hook the ear hooks over your ears to wear them.
Now, enjoy your music.
*Incorrect wearing may cause discomfort. Ensure the transducers are positioned in front of your ears.
Volume

How to change volume: While music or calls are active, press the Volume+ or Volume- button to adjust the earphone volume.
*A beep sound will occur when the volume reaches its maximum.
*Listening at high volumes for extended periods may affect your hearing or cause audio distortion.

Check Battery Status
Operation when audio is paused.

How to check battery status: When audio is paused, click the Volume+ or Volume- button. The battery status will be announced by voice.
Voice prompts include: 'Battery is charging', 'Battery is about half full', 'Battery is low, please charge'.
Functions
Equalizer Mode

Standard Mode: Balanced frequency settings for listening to music.
Vocal Mode: Optimized for human voices, ideal for audiobooks and podcasts.
Switching Equalizer Mode

How to switch equalizer modes: Press and hold both buttons (Power/Volume+ button and Volume- button) during music playback until you hear a beep sound.
*Voice prompts will announce 'Standard Mode' or 'Vocal Mode'.
*You can also switch equalizer modes using the Shokz app.
Multipoint Pairing

Pairing two devices: Multipoint pairing allows you to seamlessly switch between two devices.
1. Ensure the OpenRun Pro is powered off.
2. Press and hold the Volume+ button until the LED indicator flashes red and blue alternately and you hear the voice prompt 'Pairing mode'.
*You can also switch devices using the Shokz app.

Connecting the first device:
Voice prompt: 'Connected' ✔
4. Open the Bluetooth menu on the first device and select 'OpenRun Pro by Shokz'. You will hear the voice prompt 'Connected'.
5. Turn off the earphones.

Connecting the second device:
Voice prompt: 'Connected' ✔
6. Again, press and hold the Volume+ button until you hear the voice prompt 'Pairing mode' and the LED indicator flashes red and blue alternately. The mode changes to pairing mode.
7. Open the Bluetooth menu on the second device and select 'OpenRun Pro by Shokz'. You will hear the voice prompt 'Connected'.
8. Turn off the earphones.

You will hear a beep sound and the voice prompt 'Welcome to Shokz. Connected. Connected to the second device'.
9. Turn on the earphones. The earphones are now connected to both devices.
Multipoint Pairing Cancellation
Please operate with the earphones powered off.

1. Start the operation with the earphones powered off.
2. Press and hold the Volume+ button until the LED indicator flashes red and blue alternately and you hear the voice prompt 'Pairing mode'.
*You can also easily switch between devices using the Shokz app.

3. Press and hold the Multifunction button and the Volume- button until you hear the voice prompt 'Multipoint connection ended'.
Language Switching
The earphones have four built-in languages: Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean.
When the earphones are powered off, follow the instructions.

1. Start with the earphones powered off.
2. Press and hold the Volume+ button until the LED indicator flashes red and blue alternately and you hear the voice prompt 'Pairing mode'.
*You can also change the language using the Shokz app.

3. Double-click the Multifunction button. The voice prompt language will switch.
Care & Maintenance
Charging Method
When charging, the earphones will automatically power off.

When the earphone battery is low, you will hear the voice prompt 'Please charge', and the red light will flash intermittently.
Use the compatible magnetic charging cable for charging.
During charging, the LED indicator will turn red, and the earphones will automatically power off. When charging is complete, the LED indicator will change from red to blue.
Water Detection Alert

About the function: The earphones detect liquids such as water, sweat, and rain. If you connect the earphones to the charger while wet, the LED indicator will flash red and blue. After that, a beep sound will come from the earphones. In such cases, remove the charging cable, dry the port completely, and then continue charging.
Storage and Maintenance
- Store the earphones in a cool, dry place. Operating temperature is 0-45°C (32-113°F).
- Keep the product away from heat sources, flammable gases, or other detergents and corrosive liquids. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and avoid using or placing the product in high-temperature environments such as inside a car on a hot day.
- This headphone is water-resistant, but not waterproof. Do not submerge the earphones in water.
- Wipe the earphones with a soft, dry cloth to keep them clean.
- After long-term storage, charge the earphones before using them again.
Battery
- Do not disassemble, replace the battery, deform, or cut the product to avoid risks such as explosion, fire, or leakage of toxic chemicals.
- Do not throw the earphones into water or fire.
- If you notice any distortion or material deformation on the headphones, do not use them.
Charging
- Before connecting the charging cable, ensure the charging port is dry. Failure to do so may cause short circuits, fire, or explosion.
- Do not charge immediately after exercising. If there is any moisture (like sweat) remaining in the charging port, it may cause the circuit to burn out and lead to malfunction during charging.
- Keep the product away from heat sources while charging.
- Use only the manufacturer-approved magnetic charging cable. Using other charging cables may not meet safety standards and could pose a risk of injury to the user or damage to the device.
- Use only power sources certified by an authorized agent that meet regional regulatory requirements (e.g., UL, CSA, VDE, CCC).
Driving Safety
Depending on the country or region, using this product while driving may be a violation of traffic laws. Please check the traffic rules and regulations of your country/region and comply with them, or consult your local regulatory authorities.
Skin Sensitivity
- Prolonged contact with the materials of this product may rarely cause skin allergies or hypersensitivity.
- If you have any wounds or inflammation on your skin on your neck, ears, or head, please refrain from using this product to avoid allergic reactions.
- If you experience redness, swelling, or itching on your skin while using the product, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor.
