Earphone Operation Method

Power On/Off

To power on the earphones, press and hold the Power/Volume + Button until the LED indicator lights up blue. You will hear the audio prompt "Welcome to Shokz."

To power off the earphones, press and hold the Power/Volume + Button until the LED indicator lights up red. You will hear the audio prompt "Goodbye."

Pairing

Follow these steps to pair your OpenRun headphones with a device:

  1. Ensure the OpenRun is powered off.
  2. Press and hold the Volume + Button until the LED indicator flashes red and blue alternately. You will hear the audio prompt "Pairing mode."
  3. Open the Bluetooth settings on your device and select "OpenRun by Shokz."
  4. You will hear the audio prompt "Connected."

Wearing Method

Ensure the transducers are positioned in front of your ears for optimal sound and comfort. Incorrect wearing may lead to improper use or discomfort.

Check Battery Level

When audio is paused, press the Volume + or Volume - Button. The earphones will announce the battery status: "Battery is charging," "Battery is about half full," or "Battery is low/Please charge."

Functions

Equalizer Mode

To switch between "Standard Mode" and "Vocal Mode," press and hold both the Power/Volume + Button and the Volume - Button simultaneously during music playback until you hear a beep sound.

Multipoint Connection

Pair two devices to enable seamless switching between them using Multipoint Connection.

Multipoint Connection Setup

Follow these steps to connect to two devices:

  1. Turn off the OpenRun headphones.
  2. Press and hold the Volume + Button until the LED indicator flashes red and blue alternately and you hear the audio prompt "Pairing mode."
  3. Press and hold the Multi-function Button and the Volume + Button simultaneously until you hear the audio prompt "Starting Multipoint connection."
  4. Turn on Bluetooth on your first device and select "OpenRun by Shokz." You will hear "Connected."
  5. Turn off the earphones.
  6. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to enter pairing mode again.
  7. Turn on Bluetooth on your second device and select "OpenRun by Shokz." You will hear "Connected."
  8. Turn off the earphones.
  9. Turn on the earphones. They are now connected to both devices. You will hear "Welcome to Shokz. Connected."

Disconnecting Multipoint Connection

To disconnect Multipoint Connection:

  1. Start with the earphones powered off.
  2. Press and hold the Volume + Button until the LED indicator flashes red and blue alternately and you hear the audio prompt "Pairing mode."
  3. Press and hold the Multi-function Button and the Volume - Button simultaneously until you hear the audio prompt "Multipoint connection ended."

Reset to Factory Settings

To reset your OpenRun headphones to factory settings:

  1. Start with the earphones powered off.
  2. Press and hold the Volume + Button until the LED indicator flashes red and blue alternately and you hear the audio prompt "Pairing mode."
  3. Press and hold the Multi-function Button, Volume + Button, and Volume - Button simultaneously until you hear two beep sounds.
  4. Turn off the earphones. Your OpenRun headphones are now reset and can be re-paired with your devices.

Language Switching

The earphones support four languages: English, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese.

Care & Maintenance

Charging Method
