Important Notes

Watch Care
- The rubber gasket that protects the watch from water and dust should be replaced every 2-3 years.
- If water enters the watch, have it inspected immediately by an authorized Casio dealer or distributor.
- Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures (very high or very low).
- While designed for normal use, avoid rough handling and dropping the watch.
- Do not fasten the watch strap too tightly. A finger should fit between your wrist and the strap.
- To clean the watch and strap, use a dry soft cloth or a soft cloth dampened with a mild neutral detergent solution. Never use volatile solvents such as gasoline, thinners, or spray cleaners.
- When not in use, store the watch in a dry place.
- Avoid contact with gasoline, cleaning solvents, aerosol sprays, adhesives, paint, etc. Chemical reactions with these materials can damage gaskets, the case, and the finish.
- Some models have silk-screened designs on the strap. Be careful when cleaning these straps to avoid damaging the designs.
For Watches with Polymer Straps...
- A white, powdery substance may appear on the strap. This substance is harmless and can be easily removed by wiping with a soft cloth.
- Sweat or moisture on a polymer strap, or storing it in high humidity, can lead to damage, tearing, or cracking. To ensure a long life for the polymer strap, wipe it clean of dirt and water with a soft cloth as often as possible.
For Watches with Fluorescent Cases and Straps...
- Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause the fluorescent color to gradually fade.
- Prolonged contact with moisture can cause the fluorescent color to gradually fade. If the watch surface gets wet, wipe it dry as soon as possible.
- Prolonged contact with a wet surface can lead to discoloration of the fluorescent color. Keep the fluorescent surface dry and avoid contact with other surfaces.
- Heavy friction on a surface with fluorescent paint may transfer the paint to the other surface.

Calibration Signal
This watch receives a calibration signal to update the time. Signal transmission centers are located in Germany (approx. 25 km from Frankfurt) and Rugby, England. The signal covers a radius of 1000 km. The signal may be weak at distances over 500 meters. Signal reception can be affected by weather conditions, atmospheric pressure, and temperature. Factors that can weaken the signal include:
- Being near a TV, computer, or home appliance.
- Being in a subway or tunnel.
- Being at an airport, train station, or busy highway.
- Proximity to radio stations or signal transmission towers.
- Electrostatic charge.
There are two types of calibration signal reception:
Auto-Calibration: When enabled, the watch automatically receives the signal five times daily and corrects the time. When enabled, the watch automatically receives the signal five times daily and corrects the time. When enabled, the watch automatically receives the signal five times daily and corrects the time.
Forced Calibration: You can manually initiate signal reception by pressing a button.
- Position your watch horizontally.
- In Current Time Mode, press and hold the "B" button for 2 seconds until a signal sounds, indicating the start of reception. The second hand moves to the 12 o'clock position.
- Signal reception takes between 2 and 7 minutes. Do not move the watch during this period.
- After reception, the watch will display the data from the last signal reception.
To stop the reception process and return to Current Time Mode, press the "B" button.
- If signal reception fails, the watch will display "- - - -" for 1-2 minutes before automatically returning to Current Time Mode.
- You can return to Current Time Mode by pressing the "B" button.
Auto-Calibration Signal
When auto-calibration is enabled, the watch automatically receives the signal five times a day at 0:00, 1:00, 2:00, 3:00, and 4:00 AM. An additional reception is attempted at 5:00 AM if none of the previous attempts were successful. Auto-calibration only occurs when the watch is in Current Time Mode or Dual Time Mode. Signal reception lasts from 2 to 7 minutes; avoid moving the watch during this time.
Signal Reception Indicator
This indicator shows the strength of the received signal. A full indicator means the signal is received well. Try to position your watch for optimal reception. It takes about 10 seconds for the indicator to show the signal strength. If the calibration indicator is not displayed, calibration is not occurring. You may need to perform manual calibration or check your watch settings.

Do not use auto-backlight when it could impair your vision or distract you, such as while riding a motorcycle or bicycle.
Analog Time Mode
The analog time is synchronized with the current time, so manual setting is usually not required. However, if the analog time does not match the current time for any reason, follow these steps:
- In Analog Time Mode, press and hold the "A" button until "- 00 -" appears. The second hand will move to the 12 o'clock position. If it does not, use the "D" button to adjust its position. Each press of "D" advances the hand by 1 second.

Power Supply
This watch is powered by a solar cell and a rechargeable battery. If the watch is kept in the dark for extended periods, the battery charge will decrease.
Power Level Indicator
The indicator at the top of the display shows the battery charge level:
Level | Indicator | Function |
---|---|---|
1 | HI | Sufficient battery charge for normal operation. |
2 | MID | Sufficient battery charge for normal operation. |
3 | LOW C | Alarm, backlight, electronic display, and calibration signal may not function. |
4 | LOW | Power supply is completely discharged. |
If the indicator is not displayed, the battery is fully discharged. Place the watch in a light source. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, as this may cause malfunctions. If you frequently use the backlight or alarm, the "R" indicator may appear, signifying that the battery is charging.
Charging the Power Supply
After a full charge, the watch will operate normally for approximately 5 months under the following conditions: the watch is not exposed to direct sunlight, 5 calibration signals per day, 1.5 seconds of backlight use per day, 10 seconds of alarm use per day, 18 hours of operation with 6 hours of sleep mode daily. Daily exposure to light ensures continuous battery charging.
