Installation Guide and Product Information
Product Overview
The Aurora AU-R6CWSBF is a versatile LED downlight designed for indoor use. It features selectable wattage (4W, 6W, 8W) and colour temperature (3000K, 4000K, 5700K) via integrated sliders, allowing for customization before or after installation.
Important Installation Information & Safety Precautions
- Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the latest National Wiring Regulations.
- This luminaire is for indoor use only.
- Maximum input voltage: 220-240V AC 50Hz.
- Ensure all electrical connections are tight with no loose strands.
- Always switch off the mains electricity supply before commencing installation or maintenance.
- This is a Class II, Double Insulated luminaire; an earth connection is not required.
- The luminaire is dimmable. Please check the Aurora website for compatibility information.
- The light source is not replaceable. The entire luminaire must be replaced when the light source reaches its end of life.
- This product contains a light source of energy efficiency class E.
- Wire identification: Live (L) is Brown, Neutral (N) is Blue, and Earth (E) is Green/Yellow.
Installation Steps
Step 1: Prepare Switch
Prepare the switch for installation.

Ensure adequate space within the ceiling void.

Pull apart the luminaire housing to access the driver and wiring.

Connect the driver to the mains power supply wiring.

Connect the wires according to the colour coding and specifications.

Insert the driver unit into the ceiling void.

Push the luminaire into the ceiling and secure it by pushing together until it clicks into place.

The driver supports loop-in and loop-out connections.

Select the desired wattage (4W, 6W, or 8W) using the slider on the driver before installation.

Select the desired colour temperature (WW - 3000K, CW - 4000K, DL - 5700K) using the slider on the downlight cap before installation.

Attach the selected downlight cap to the luminaire.

Insert the complete downlight assembly into the ceiling.

Perform a final check of the installed luminaire. The bezel is included.

This product is marked with the WEEE symbol [WEEE symbol: a wheeled bin with a cross through it], indicating it should not be disposed of with household or commercial waste. Please separate this product from other waste types and recycle it responsibly at your local facilities. Contact your local authority or recycling centre for advice.
Guarantee
This product is guaranteed for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase. The guarantee is invalid in cases of improper use, installation, tampering, or if the QC date label is removed. It also does not cover installation in an improper working environment or installation not according to current National Wiring Regulations. Should the product fail during the guarantee period, it will be replaced free of charge, subject to correct installation and return of the faulty unit. Aurora does not accept responsibility for installation costs associated with replacement. This warranty is in addition to statutory rights.
