ADD THE DEVICE

  1. Ensure your phone is connected to your Wi-Fi network and that it is a 2.4GHz network.
  2. Remove the camera's face plate and plug the Hidden Camera into a wall outlet. Wait approximately 75-90 seconds for a blue light to flash rapidly, indicating it's ready for setup. If the light does not flash rapidly, press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds, then release and wait another 75-90 seconds for the light to start blinking rapidly. The camera is then ready for setup. (Remember to replace the faceplate after the setup process is complete).
  3. Tap the plus symbol (+) in the top right corner of the app and select "Smart Camera" from the list of available devices to add.

The app's "Add Manually" screen shows various device categories, including "Smart Camera" represented by a camera icon ?.

Connecting the Device via QR Code

  1. Tap the "next step" button in the app.
  2. Confirm your phone is connected to the correct 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter your Wi-Fi password.
  3. Follow the in-app directions: hold the QR code displayed on your phone screen in front of the camera's view.

Important: Since the camera does not have a speaker, you will not hear an audible prompt. When the camera successfully reads the QR code, the blue light will stop blinking fast and start blinking slowly. At this point, you can tap "I Heard a Prompt" in the app to continue.

The app screens guide the user through resetting the device, selecting the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and entering the password, and finally displaying a QR code to be scanned by the camera, with instructions to hold it 15 to 20 cm away.

Completing Device Addition

  1. The connecting process will begin. Do not turn off the Hidden Camera or your phone during connection. Wait for the connection process to complete.
  2. Once the device has been successfully added, you can name it within the app. The Hidden Camera is then ready for use.

The app displays an "Adding device..." screen with a spinning search icon and a countdown timer. Upon successful addition, an "Added." screen appears, showing "Hidden Camera" with a checkmark and options to assign it to rooms like "Dining Room" or "Living Room".

The app interface shows the live camera feed with an "Alarm" button. Tapping the settings icon leads to a menu with "Detection Alarm Settings" under "ADVANCED SETTINGS", where a toggle for "Motion Detection Alarm" is present.

Hub Controls (Sound, Video Quality, Signal Strength)

Features can be controlled directly from the live video feed. A volume button (speaker icon ?) allows muting and unmuting the live feed.
