Assembly Instructions
To Assemble Playard:
ATTENTION: Playard must be fully assembled and securely locked before installing or using other accessories.
- Unzip bag and remove Playard frame. Undo fasten straps and set mattress aside. DO NOT push center down yet.
- Ensure top rails are fully erected before lowering the center. Pull up one rail at a time, holding each side firmly, and pull up sharply. Do not pull from the middle where the center latch release is located. Ensure both tubes latch in place and each rail is rigid. IMPORTANT: The center must be raised while locking the rails. If one rail locks but the other does not, unlock the rail by squeezing the release in the center and try again.
- Once all four top rails are locked, push down on the center handle. The center mechanism will rotate clockwise 90 degrees and lock in place. IMPORTANT: Test each top rail by pushing down slightly to confirm it is rigid and securely in place before use.
- Place the mattress on the floor of the playard with the padded side facing up.
- Insert the Velcro® straps from the underside of the mattress through the slots in the floor at each end of the playard. Fasten the hook and loop straps to the underside of the playard floor to prevent the mattress from moving. IMPORTANT: The center handle must remain raised while locking the side rails. If the center is not raised, the rails will not lock. If you experience difficulty, contact Customer Service.
- To operate the brakes on the wheels, press downward on the brake levers. To release, lift upward on the lever.
Folding the Playard:
ATTENTION: To use as a bassinet, skip to page 18 for bassinet installation instructions.
- Release the Velcro® straps holding the mattress from underneath the playard floor or bassinet and set the mattress aside. Do not unlock top rails yet; the center of the floor must be raised before top rails will unlock. Rotate the center handle counter-clockwise 90 degrees and raise the center as high as the top rails. Gather the legs and wheels together towards the center as close as possible so they nearly touch.
- Locate the rail latch release in the center and bottom side of each rail. Squeeze the lever with two hands until the rail releases the two tubes, then push down. NOTE: If top rails do not release completely, DO NOT FORCE! Lift the center of the floor higher. Both tubes must be released for the top rail to fold.
Folding the Playard (Continued):
- Gather four corners and center all together tightly. Wrap the mattress around the playard frame with the padded side facing inward.
- Secure the hooks and loop straps by feeding them through the loops on the end of the mattress and folding them back onto themselves. Place the folded playard into the carry bag so that the handle comes through the opening between each side of the zipper.
To Assemble Bassinet:
ATTENTION: Playard must be fully assembled and securely locked before installing or using the bassinet feature. You will need to remove the mattress from the bottom of the playard to use inside your bassinet.
- Position the bassinet over and down into the fully assembled playard. Secure by pushing down firmly on each plastic support clip until all are snapped into place.
- Assemble Mattress Support Tubes by inserting the two male tubes into the two female tubes. Insert both assembled mattress support tubes into the loops provided on the bottom of the bassinet.
- Place the mattress into the bassinet with the padded side facing upward.
To Remove Bassinet:
- Remove mattress from bassinet. Remove canopy. Unsnap all clips and lift bassinet.
To Assemble Canopy:
NOTE: If the canopy comes in a "U" shape, assemble it before attaching to the playard. If it comes in a "C" shape, skip to step 15.
- Open canopy as seen in Fig. 14b. Adjust the opening at the top by aligning the inner center strap with the two outer straps. Open canopy completely and feel the top center to ensure straps are aligned correctly so canopy fits the playard.
- Position canopy in the center of the playard. Attach each side of the canopy by pressing canopy clips onto the center of the top rails. Attach the other end of the canopy by snapping the two buttons or velcro located near each corner of the playard.
To Remove Canopy:
- Unsnap the canopy and pull upward on the ends from the side of the playard.
To Assemble Changing Table:
ATTENTION: Playard must be fully assembled and securely locked before installing or using the changing table feature.
- Connect the two long curved bars together. Insert the assembled curved bars into the changing table fabric, sliding them around the inside sleeve.
- Connect the two short bars to each end of the long curved bar, ensuring knobs face down and in the same direction.
- Insert connector knob prongs into holes on playard corners. Turn connector knobs counter-clockwise to lock.
- Flip the changing table over onto the playard.
- ATTENTION: When the changing table is flipped up, it must be secured to the playard frame using the provided velcro straps.
- Locate velcro straps on the bottom of the changing table and inside the side rails of the playard. Flip the changing table into its upper position. Secure the changing table to the playard frame by fastening the velcro straps on the underside of the changing table to the side rails of the playard frame.
- Snap the two buttons on the flap down onto the playard.
To Use Changing Table Restraint System:
WARNING FALL HAZARD: Always keep child within arm's reach. Always use restraint belt.
- Place child on changing table, ensuring hands and arms are clear of the restraint. Bring restraint around child's waist and clip buckle ends together.
- Tighten strap snugly around child's waist. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.
- To remove, unsnap the buckle.
- ATTENTION: NEVER use the changing table if it is damaged or broken.
To Remove Changing Table:
- Flip changing table to the outside of the playard. Unsnap fabric flap from playard. Twist connector knobs clockwise to unlock. Remove changing table and disconnect short bars from the curved bar by pressing snap buttons and pulling apart. Remove curved bar from changing table sleeve.
Parent Organizer Assembly:
Parent Organizer: Position each hook so the hooked end faces the rear side of the organizer. Press hook firmly into the slot until it snaps into place. Connect the parent organizer to the playard by sliding the two connecting clips over an open portion of the top rail. NOTE: The parent organizer can only be installed on open sides where clips can attach without interfering with other features.
Mobile Assembly (Wind Up):
ATTENTION: DO NOT attach mobile to canopy until canopy is correctly installed. A crib mobile is for visual stimulation, not grasping. Remove when baby begins to push up on hands/knees. If designed for wall/ceiling mount, install out of baby's reach. Always attach all fasteners tightly. Check frequently. DO NOT add extra strings/straps. DO NOT attach mobile with child in playard/bassinet. DO NOT remove mobile before retracting/removing canopy.
- Attach the mobile (a) to the tri-shaped arm (b), aligning slots and gently pressing pieces together.
Music Center Assembly:
