Product Overview
The SALTO DBolt Touch IC is a new electronic lock designed for multi-family housing and residential markets. It offers a retrofit solution for upgrading existing deadbolt mechanical locks.

Note on Escutcheons: The inside and outside escutcheons are paired and will not function if switched with different units.
Door Type Compatibility: Suitable for Wood Doors (RFDTCTW30W01) and Steel Doors (RFDTCTS30W01). Some components may not be included for all door types.

Installation Steps
Step 1: Install Deadbolt
Insert the deadbolt mechanism into the door. Secure it using the screws labeled 'REF: LDxL...' and 'PH 2 | REAL SIZE'.
Step 2: Install Strike Plate
Install the strike plate into the door frame. Secure it using the screws labeled 'REF: LDxA...' and 'PH 2 | REAL SIZE'.
Step 3: Mount Inside Plate
Attach the inside mounting plate to the door using the provided screws. Ensure the hand selector is correctly oriented.
Step 4: Measure Door Thickness
Refer to the table in the 'Specifications and Components' section to select the appropriate spindle length (L) based on the door thickness (t).
Step 5: Connect Spindle and Latch
Insert the spindle through the deadbolt mechanism and connect it to the inside assembly. Ensure the latch is properly engaged.
Step 6: Secure Inside Assembly
Attach the inside cover and secure it with fixing screws. A warning symbol ⚠️ indicates caution is needed.
Step 7: Install Outside Assembly
Carefully insert the outside assembly onto the spindle and align it with the inside assembly. Ensure correct orientation (Inside Side 1). A caution symbol ⚠️ is displayed.
Step 8: Attach Outside Lever
Attach the outside lever to the outside assembly. Rotate it clockwise (R) or counter-clockwise (L) as indicated.
Step 9: Secure Outside Assembly
Insert the fixing screws to secure the outside assembly. Ensure the components align correctly.
Step 10: Connect Internal Wires
Connect the internal wires from the outside assembly to the inside assembly.
Step 11: Secure Inside Assembly Cover
Attach the inside assembly cover and secure it with screws.
Step 12: Finalize Inside Assembly
Complete the attachment of the inside assembly.
Step 13: Engage Mechanism
Ensure the mechanism clicks into place, indicating proper engagement. Listen for a 'click!' sound. ?
Step 14: Attach Outside Cover
Attach the outside cover to the assembly.
Step 15: Test Lever Operation
Rotate the outside lever to test the mechanism. A warning symbol ⚠️ is shown.
Step 16: Insert Battery Pack
Insert the battery pack into the inside assembly. Ensure correct polarity.
Step 17: Secure Inside Assembly
Secure the inside assembly with the appropriate screws.
Step 18: Door Detector Connection
For models with a door detector, disconnect the wire (9a) before proceeding. For other models, connect the wire (9b, 9c).
Note: Unplug for models with door detector only! ?
Step 19: Insert Batteries
Insert the batteries into the battery compartment, observing the correct polarity (+/-). ?
Step 20: Handing Setup - Initial
Begin the handing setup process by rotating the spindle.
Step 21: Handing Setup - Rotation
Continue the handing setup by rotating the spindle.
Step 22: Handing Setup - Reset and Confirmation
Use the reset tool ? to perform a reset. The device will emit beeps (BEEEEEE EEEEEP) indicating the status. This process takes approximately 1 second.
Step 23: Finalize Handing Setup
Complete the handing setup by rotating the spindle.
Step 24: Attach Outside Cover
Attach the outer cover to the assembly, securing it with screws.
Step 25: Secure Outside Cover
Use a TX10 tool to secure the outside cover.
Step 26: Test Lever Operation
Test the operation of the levers.
Step 27: Remove Protective Film
Remove the protective film from the keypad or touch surface.
Step 28: Initial Use
The lock is now ready for initial use. A 'CLICK HERE' prompt is shown, likely for software setup or further instructions.
Battery Replacement
Step 1: Remove the inside cover to access the battery compartment. Observe the green checkmark ✔️ indicating correct battery placement.
Step 2: Replace batteries as needed. The process should take a maximum of 40 seconds (MAX.40"). The indicator shows 'Change/Remplacer/Cambio'. ?
Emergency Opening
In case of emergency, a Type-C connector ? is available for external power. Connect a power bank to the Type-C port to operate the lock. A warning symbol ⚠️ indicates caution is required.
