This guide provides instructions for installing the SALTO XS4 One electronic lock.

The "A2" version requires installation with the SALTO LT2L tubular latch. [Diagram on page 1 shows dimensions: 160mm, 125mm, 42mm, 19.5mm, Ø14mm, Ø25mm, Ø1"][Diagram shows OUTSIDE and INSIDE of a door][Diagram indicates a 7F model requirement for a specific part]
SALTO recommends using a mortise lock with a maximum 4° pre-turn. [Diagram illustrates 4° pre-turn]
Ensure compatibility with SALTO escutcheons. [Diagram shows escutcheon compatibility]
Important Note on Alignment: For models 56, 57, 66, and P6 with a 7F distance, the self-drilling screw cannot be used to improve escutcheon vertical alignment.
Installation Steps
Follow these steps carefully for proper installation.
Step 1: Prepare the Door
Select the correct handing ([Left]/[Right]) for the lock.
Use the provided [Template] to mark the door for drilling.

Step 2: Install Lock Components
Install the main lock body and associated hardware onto the door.

Step 3: Attach Handles and Cylinder
Secure the handles to the lock mechanism.

Step 4: Install Batteries and Cover
Insert [LR03 AAA] batteries into the lock mechanism.
Attach the battery cover.

Step 5: Program the Lock
Crucial Step: Before closing the door, program the lock.
Instructions in multiple languages:
- English: AT THIS POINT DO NOT CLOSE THE DOOR. PROGRAM THE LOCK FIRST.
- Spanish: NO CIERRE LA PUERTA. PROGRÁME LA CERRADURA.
- German: TÜR NICHT SCHLIESSEN. ZUERST SCHLOSS PROGRAMMIEREN.
- French: NE FERMEZ PAS LA PORTE. PROGRAMMEZ LA BÉQUILLE AVANT.
- Italian: PROGRAMMARE LA SERRATURA PRIMA DI CHIUDERE LA PORTA.

Step 6: Final Assembly
Complete the installation by securing all components.
