This toilet has been designed for easy installation. Conventional fittings have been used throughout so that the working parts and operation of this assembly may be easily understood. Local Plumbing and Building Codes should be followed for all installations.
Do not expose plastic trim parts to strong oxidizing agents, chlorine, or acid levels of lower than 5.0 pH. Most bowl/ tile cleaners contain such agents.
Tank type bowl cleaners can cause tank component failure and damage. Our warranty excludes such failures.

Installation Instructions
Step 1: Prepare for Installation
Turn off and disconnect the water supply. Unbolt and remove the old toilet. Remove the old wax ring and clean the floor flange area with a putty knife.
Step 2: Install Wax Ring
Install a new wax ring (not included) on the bottom of the toilet bowl (A), ensuring not to cover the toilet bowl outlet. Alternatively, the wax ring can be placed onto the floor flange.
Step 3: Position Toilet Bowl
Install new floor mounting bolts (not included) upright in the floor flange slots. Place the toilet bowl (A) over the floor flange/waste line opening, aligning the floor mounting bolts with the toilet's floor bolt holes. Press down firmly and twist the toilet bowl (A) slightly to compress the wax ring and ensure a seal between the bowl and the floor.
Step 4: Secure Floor Mounting Bolts
Place a floor mounting bolt washer (not included) over each floor mounting bolt. Assemble the floor mounting bolt nut to the floor mounting bolt. Tighten the floor mounting bolt nut carefully until it is just snug.
Step 5: Install Floor Bolt Covers
Install the ceramic floor bolt cover plates (O) (included) by firmly pressing them into the recesses on the side wall of the toilet bowl (A). Six additional strips of hook and loop tape (P) are provided for future replacements.
Step 6: Check Valve Lock Nuts
Before assembling the toilet tank (B) to the toilet bowl (A), check the tightness of the lock nuts on both the flush valve and the fill valve.
Step 7: Assemble Tank Mounting Bolts
Assemble the toilet tank mounting bolts (C) into the toilet tank (B) with the rubber toilet tank bolt washers (D) and plastic wing nuts (E). Tighten the plastic wing nuts (E) by hand sufficiently to compress the rubber washers (D) and ensure a water seal.
Step 8: Attach Tank-to-Bowl Gasket
Assemble the toilet tank to bowl gasket (F) to the flush valve shank, ensuring the lock nut is enclosed in the recess. Verify that the entire surface of the gasket (F) is in contact with the toilet tank bottom.
Step 9: Place Channel Pads
Place two channel pads (G) onto the posts on the back of the toilet bowl ledge to prevent china-to-china contact.
Step 10: Position and Level Tank
Place the toilet tank assembly (B) in position. Tighten the plastic wing nuts (E) sufficiently by hand to prevent rocking. The tank can be leveled by adjusting the tightness of the wing nuts (E) on the three contact points: the tank-to-bowl gasket (F) and the two channel pads (G).
Step 11: Connect Fill Valve Coupling Nut
Use the fill valve coupling nut (H) to connect the water supply line to the fill valve. Do not use pipe dope! Hand-tighten only. Over-tightening may split the fill valve and void the warranty.
Step 12: Connect Flexible Water Supply Line
If using a flexible water supply line (not included), assemble it to the threads of the toilet tank fill valve. Do not use Teflon tape or pipe dope on the fill valve threads, as this can lead to over-tightening and breakage.
Step 13: Check Refill Tube Adapter
Ensure the refill tube adapter (I) is attached to the top of the flush valve overflow tube. The flow from the refill tube must be positioned directly over the overflow tube.
Step 14: Clear System Debris
IMPORTANT: Always clear sand and rust from the system.
- Remove the valve top by lifting the arm and rotating the top 1/8 turn counterclockwise.
- Place a container over the uncapped valve to prevent splashing. Turn the water supply on and off a few times. Leave the water supply off.
- Replace the top by engaging the lugs and rotating 1/8 turn clockwise. Ensure the top is turned to the locked position. The valve may not operate if the top is not fully locked.
Step 15: Turn On Water and Check for Leaks
Turn on the toilet's water supply and check for leaks. Inspect connection points of the water supply line to the tank fill valve, the water supply line to the water supply valve, the bottom of the tank mounting area, and around the base of the toilet bowl (A). Carefully tighten any leaking connections.
Step 16: Adjust Water Level
Adjust the water level in the toilet tank (B) to the marked water line. Turn the water level adjustment screw (J) to move the float cup (K) up or down.
Step 17: Check Tank Lever and Flapper
Check the operation of the tank lever (L) and ensure its nut is tight (left-hand thread). Also, check the slack in the flapper chain (it should have slight slack when at rest) and the seal of the flush valve flapper.
Step 18: Place Tank Cover
Carefully place the toilet tank cover (M) onto the top of the toilet tank (B).
Step 19: Install Toilet Seat
Install the toilet seat (N) according to the manufacturer's instructions.
