This toilet has been designed for easy installation. Conventional fittings have been used throughout so that the working parts and operation of this assembly may be easily understood. Local Plumbing and Building Codes should be followed for all installations.
Caution: Do not expose plastic trim parts to strong oxidizing agents, chlorine, or acid levels of lower than 5.0 pH. Most bowl/tile cleaners contain such agents.
Tank type bowl cleaners can cause tank component failure and damage. Our warranty excludes such failures.

Installation Instructions
- Step 1: Turn off and disconnect the water supply. Unbolt and remove the old toilet. Remove the old wax ring and clean the floor flange area with a putty knife.
- Step 2: Install a new wax ring (not included) on the bottom of the toilet bowl (A), ensuring it does not cover the toilet bowl outlet. (Alternate Method: The wax ring may also be placed onto the floor flange.)
- Step 3: Install the new floor mounting bolts (not included) upright in the slots of the floor flange. Place the toilet bowl (A) over the floor flange/waste line opening, aligning the floor mounting bolts with the toilet's floor bolt holes. Press down firmly and twist the toilet bowl (A) slightly to compress the wax ring and ensure a seal between the toilet bowl (A) and the floor.
- Step 4: Place one plastic washer (O) over each floor mounting bolt and attach the floor mounting bolt nut. Tighten the nut carefully until just snug. Cut excess bolt length with a hack saw. Install the plastic bolt caps (O) onto the plastic washers (O).
- Step 5: Before assembling the toilet tank (B) to the toilet bowl (A), check the tightness of the lock nuts on both the flush valve and the fill valve.
- Step 6: Assemble the toilet tank mounting bolts (C) into the toilet tank (B) with rubber toilet tank bolt washers (D) and plastic wing nuts (E). Tighten the wing nuts (E) by hand sufficiently to compress the rubber washers (D) and ensure a water seal.
- Step 7: Assemble the toilet tank to bowl gasket (F) to the flush valve shank. Ensure the lock nut is enclosed in the recess and that the entire surface of the gasket (F) contacts the toilet tank bottom.
- Step 8: Place two channel pads (G) onto the posts on the back of the toilet bowl ledge to prevent china-to-china contact.
- Step 9: Position the toilet tank assembly (B) onto the bowl. Tighten the plastic wing nuts (E) by hand sufficiently to prevent rocking. The tank can be leveled by adjusting the tightness of the wing nuts (E) on the three contact points: the tank-to-bowl gasket (F) and the two channel pads (G).
- Step 10: Use the fill valve coupling nut (H) to connect the water supply line to the fill valve. Hand tighten only. Do not use pipe dope. Overtightening may split the fill valve and void the warranty.
- Step 11: If using a flexible water supply line (not included), connect it to the fill valve threads on the toilet tank. Do not use Teflon tape or pipe dope on these threads, as it can lead to over-tightening and breakage.
- Step 12: Ensure the refill tube adapter (I) is attached to the top of the flush valve overflow tube. The refill tube flow must be directed into the overflow tube.
- Step 13: IMPORTANT: Clear sand and rust from the system.
- Remove the valve top by lifting the arm and rotating the top 1/8 turn counterclockwise.
- Place a container over the uncapped valve to prevent splashing. Turn the water supply on and off a few times, then leave it off.
- Replace the top by engaging the lugs and rotating 1/8 turn clockwise. Ensure the top is fully locked in position; the valve will not operate if not locked.
- Step 14: Turn on the water supply to the toilet and check for leaks at all connection points: water supply line to fill valve, water supply line to water valve, bottom of tank mounting area, and around the base of the toilet bowl (A). Carefully tighten any leaking connections.
- Step 15: Adjust the water level in the toilet tank (B) to the marked water line by turning the water level adjustment screw (J) to move the float cup (K) up or down.
- Step 16: Check the operation of the tank lever (L) and ensure its nut is tight (left-hand thread). Verify the flapper chain has slight slack when at rest and that the flush valve flapper seals properly.
- Step 17: Carefully place the toilet tank cover (M) onto the top of the toilet tank (B).
- Step 18: Install the toilet seat (N) according to the manufacturer's instructions.
