This toilet has been designed for easy installation. Conventional fittings have been used throughout so that the working parts and operation of this assembly may be easily understood. Local Plumbing and Building Codes should be followed for all installations.
Do not expose plastic trim parts to strong oxidizing agents, chlorine, or acid levels of lower than 5.0 pH. Most bowl/ tile cleaners contain such agents.
Tank type bowl cleaners can cause tank component failure and damage. Our warranty excludes such failures.
BEFORE INSTALLATION
Check to make sure you have the following parts included in the toilet tank package:

- (O) Plastic Bolt Caps and Washers (2 each)
- (Q) Toilet Tank assembly bag containing:
- (C) Toilet Tank Mounting Bolts (2 each)
- (D) Rubber Toilet Tank Bolt Washers (2 each)
- (E) Plastic Wing Nuts (4 each)
Additional tank parts:

TOOLS REQUIRED
- ? Putty Knife
- ? Wax Ring (1 required)
- ? Floor Mounting Bolts, Washers and Nuts (2 each required)
- ? Adjustable wrench
- ? Hack Saw
- ? Carpenter's Level (optional, only required if not already in place or the existing supply line needs to be replaced)
- ? Regular Screwdriver
- ? Safety Glasses
- 〰️ Flexible Water Supply Line* (* optional, only required if not already in place or the existing supply line needs to be replaced)

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1
?❌ Turn off and disconnect water supply.
?❌ Unbolt and remove old toilet.
?? Remove old wax ring and clean floor flange area with putty knife.
Step 2
?➡️ Install new wax ring (not included) on the bottom of the toilet bowl (A) making sure not to cover the toilet bowl outlet. (Alternate Method: The wax ring may also be placed onto the floor flange.)
Step 3
?⬆️ Install the new floor mounting bolts (not included) upright in the slots of the floor flange.
?➡️ Place the toilet bowl (A) over the floor flange/waste line opening by aligning the floor mounting bolts in the toilet floor bolt holes.
⬇️? Press down firmly and ↪️ twist toilet bowl (A) slightly to compress wax ring and assure a seal between the toilet bowl (A) and floor. ✔️
Step 4
⚪ Place one plastic washer (O) over each floor mounting bolt and assemble the floor mounting bolt nut to the floor mounting bolt.
?⬆️ Tighten the floor mounting bolt nut carefully until it is just snug.
?✂️ Cut excess length from the floor mounting bolt using a hack saw.
? Install the plastic bolt caps (O) onto the plastic washers (O).
Step 5
? Before assembling toilet tank (B) to toilet bowl (A), check tightness of lock nuts on both flush valve and fill valve.
Step 6
?➡️ Assemble toilet tank mounting bolts (C) in toilet tank (B) with rubber toilet tank bolt washers (D) and plastic wing nuts (E).
✋⬆️ Plastic wing nuts (E) should be tightened by hand sufficiently to compress rubber toilet tank bolt washers (D) and insure water seal. ?✔️
Step 7
?️➡️ Assemble toilet tank to bowl gasket (F) to flush valve shank so that lock nut is enclosed in recess, making sure that the entire surface of the toilet tank to bowl gasket (F) is in contact with the toilet tank bottom.
Step 8
⬜➡️ Place two channel pads (G) onto the posts on back of toilet bowl ledge to prevent china-to-china contact. ❌?
Step 9
?➡️ Place toilet tank assembly in position. ✋⬆️ Tighten the plastic wing nuts (E) sufficiently by hand to prevent rocking. ??
⚖️ Since the toilet tank mounting bolts (C) are already sealed, the toilet tank (B) can be leveled by the relative amount that each plastic wing nut (E) is pulled down on the three points of contact: toilet tank to bowl gasket (F) and two channel pads (G).
Step 10
?? The fill valve coupling nut (H) is provided to connect the water supply line to the fill valve.
?? Do not use pipe dope! ✋⬆️✔️ Hand tighten only!
⬆️⬆️❌ Overtightening may split the fill valve and will void the warranty. ??️❌
Step 11
〰️? If using a flexible water supply line (not included), assemble the flexible water supply line to the threads of the toilet tank fill valve.
? Do not use Teflon tape or pipe dope on the fill valve threads. This could result in over-tightening and breakage. ?
Step 12
➡️ Ensure refill tube adaptor (I) is attached to the top of the flush valve overflow tube. Note: Flow from the refill tube must be positioned directly over the overflow tube. ?➡️?️
Step 13
IMPORTANT: ?? Always clear sand and rust from system.
- Remove valve top by lifting arm and rotating top 1/8 turn counterclockwise. ⬆️ ↩️ 1/8
- While holding a container over the uncapped valve to prevent splashing ✋? ??, turn water supply on and off a few times. ?? Leave water supply off.
- Replace top by engaging lugs and rotating 1/8 turn clockwise. ? ↪️ 1/8 Make certain top is turned to the locked position. ? Valve may not turn on if the top is not fully turned to the locked position.
Step 14
?➡️ Turn on water supply to the toilet and ?? check for leakage. Inspect connection points of the water supply line to the toilet tank fill valve, water supply line to water supply valve, the bottom of the toilet tank mounting area, and around the base of the toilet bowl (A). ??
?⬆️ Carefully tighten any connections that are leaking.
Step 15
?⚖️ Adjust water level in toilet tank (B) to marked water line. 〰️? Turn the water level adjustment screw (J) to move the float cup (K) up or down. ⚙️ ?
Step 16
?? Check action and nut tightness (left hand thread) of toilet tank lever (L). ↩️? Also, check looseness of flapper chain (there should be slight slack in chain when at rest) ??⛓️? and seal of flush valve flapper. ✔️
Step 17
?? Carefully place the toilet tank cover (M) onto the top of the toilet tank (B).
Step 18
?➡️ Install toilet seat (not included) per manufacturer's instructions. ?
