This toilet has been designed for easy installation. Conventional fittings have been used throughout so that the working parts and operation of this assembly may be easily understood. Local Plumbing and Building Codes should be followed for all installations.
Do not expose plastic trim parts to strong oxidizing agents, chlorine, or acid levels of lower than 5.0 pH. Most bowl/ tile cleaners contain such agents.
Tank type bowl cleaners can cause tank component failure and damage. Our warranty excludes such failures.

Installation Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Area
Turn off and disconnect the water supply. Unbolt and remove the old toilet. Remove the old wax ring and clean the floor flange area with a putty knife.
Step 2: Install Wax Ring
Install a new wax ring (not included) onto the bottom of the toilet bowl (A), ensuring the bowl outlet is not covered. Alternatively, the wax ring can be placed onto the floor flange.
Step 3: Position Toilet Bowl
Install new floor mounting bolts (not included) upright in the floor flange slots. Place the toilet bowl (A) over the floor flange/waste line opening, aligning the bowl's bolt holes with the floor mounting bolts. Press down firmly and twist the bowl slightly to compress the wax ring and create a seal between the bowl and the floor.
Step 4: Secure Toilet Bowl
Place a floor mounting bolt washer (not included) onto each floor mounting bolt. Assemble the floor mounting bolt nut to the bolt and tighten carefully until snug.
Step 5: Install Floor Bolt Covers
Install the ceramic floor bolt cover plates (O) by pressing them firmly into the recesses on the side of the toilet bowl (A). Six additional strips of hook and loop tape (P) are provided for future replacement needs.
Step 6: Check Tank Connections
Before attaching the toilet tank (B) to the toilet bowl (A), check the tightness of the lock nuts for both the flush valve and the fill valve.
Step 7: Assemble Tank Mounting Bolts
Assemble the toilet tank mounting bolts (C) into the toilet tank (B) with rubber toilet tank bolt washers (D) and plastic wing nuts (E). Tighten the wing nuts by hand sufficiently to compress the washers and ensure a water seal.
Step 8: Attach Tank-to-Bowl Gasket
Assemble the toilet tank to bowl gasket (F) onto the flush valve shank. Ensure the lock nut is within the recess and that the entire surface of the gasket (F) contacts the bottom of the toilet tank.
Step 9: Install Channel Pads
Place two channel pads (G) onto the posts at the back of the toilet bowl ledge to prevent porcelain-to-porcelain contact.
Step 10: Position and Secure Tank
Place the assembled toilet tank (B) onto the toilet bowl (A). Tighten the plastic wing nuts (E) by hand to prevent rocking. The tank can be leveled by adjusting the tightness of the wing nuts on the three contact points: the tank-to-bowl gasket (F) and the two channel pads (G).
Step 11: Connect Water Supply to Fill Valve
Use the fill valve coupling nut (H) to connect the water supply line to the fill valve. Do not use pipe dope. Hand-tighten only. Over-tightening can split the fill valve and void the warranty.
Step 12: Flexible Water Supply Line
If using a flexible water supply line (not included), connect it to the fill valve threads. Do not use Teflon tape or pipe dope, as this can lead to over-tightening and breakage.
Step 13: Refill Tube Placement
Ensure the refill tube adaptor (I) is attached to the top of the flush valve overflow tube. The refill tube's flow must be directed into the overflow tube.
Step 14: Flush System Maintenance
IMPORTANT: Always clear sand and rust from the system. To do this: Remove the valve top by lifting the arm and rotating the top 1/8 turn counterclockwise. Place a container under the valve to catch splashing water. Turn the water supply on and off a few times, then leave it off. Re-engage the top by aligning the lugs and rotating 1/8 turn clockwise until locked. The valve will not operate if the top is not fully locked.
Step 15: Check for Leaks
Turn on the water supply and check for leaks at all connection points: water supply line to fill valve, water supply line to shut-off valve, tank mounting area, and around the base of the toilet bowl (A). Carefully tighten any leaking connections.
Step 16: Adjust Water Level
Adjust the water level in the toilet tank (B) to the marked water line. Turn the water level adjustment screw (J) to raise or lower the float cup (K).
Step 17: Check Tank Lever and Flapper
Verify the tank lever (L) operates correctly and its nut is tight (left-hand thread). Check the flapper chain for slight slack when at rest and ensure the flapper seals properly.
Step 18: Install Tank Cover
Carefully place the toilet tank cover (M) onto the top of the toilet tank (B).
Step 19: Install Toilet Seat
Install the toilet seat (N) according to the manufacturer's instructions.
