Tips for Preventing Milk Leakage and Breast Milk Pumping
- Lean forward and ensure your nipple is centered in the breast shield. The breast pump must fit snugly against your breast.
- We recommend using supportive nursing bras to help create a tight seal between your breasts and the breast shield.
- Ensure the pump is assembled correctly.
- Sit or stand while pumping; do not lie down.
Cleaning and Sterilization
Parts:
- Non-washable parts: Pump motor
- Washable parts: Milk collector, Breast shield, Membrane, Connector, Valve
We recommend cleaning washable parts with soapy water (40-60 °C / 104-140 °F) for 3-5 minutes.
For sterilization, use boiling water / steam / sterilizer at a temperature not exceeding 100 °C (212 °F). Boil and sterilize parts for 5-10 minutes.
Do not sterilize breast pump parts in a microwave oven, as this will shorten their lifespan.
Additional Tips
- The expected lifespan of washable parts is 1-3 months. It is recommended to replace washable parts after prolonged storage or before pumping milk for another child.
- The breast pump automatically shuts off after 30 minutes of inactivity. If you experience irritation or discomfort, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional.
