Safety Instructions
Important: Before installing or using the product, read these instructions carefully and strictly observe the precautions in use.
General Safety Precautions
- Always follow the installation instructions provided with the product.
- Do not connect or use this product during thunderstorms to avoid electric shock.
- Be aware of potential acoustic shocks and excessive acoustic pressure during voice communication.
- The product must be installed indoors and its case must not be opened.
- Connect an Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port on the rear panel and to a computer's Ethernet port.
- Connect only to in-house equipment (SELV interface).
- Connect a telephony cable to the telephony port on the rear panel and to a phone's telephony port.
- Do not connect this product directly to the public cable distribution or cable television network.
- Keep plastic bags out of reach of children due to suffocation risk.
- The product is designed for vertical use.
- When mounting on a wall, use screws and dowels appropriate for the wall material. Recommended screw: 3.5 mm diameter, 30 mm length or more. Recommended dowel: 5 mm diameter, 30 mm length.
Climatic Conditions
- Designed for use in an office or room with a maximum ambient temperature of 40°C (104°F).
- Do not install where there is excessive sunshine, heat radiation, or build-up of heat (e.g., under other electrical equipment).
- Must not be exposed to moisture or condensation.
- Install in an environment classified as pollution degree 2 (pollution-free environment with dry, non-conducting pollution).
Water and Moisture
- Do not install in damp or dusty environments.
- Do not allow the product to come into contact with water or liquids. No liquid should enter the product.
- Do not use near water outlets (bath, washbasin, washing machine) or in damp basements or near swimming pools.
- If liquid enters the product, switch it off immediately or unplug the power cord from the mains socket to prevent electrical discharge or fire.
- Allow the product to dry before switching it on if moved from a cold to a warm environment to prevent condensation.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- Disconnect the product from the wall socket and computer before cleaning.
- Do not use detergents, aerosols, chemicals, alcohol, benzene, diluents, or other flammable products, as they can cause fire.
- Do not dismantle the product. There are no user-replaceable parts. Opening covers may expose you to dangerous voltages. Incorrect re-assembly can cause electric shock. Contact customer service for repairs.
Power Supply
- Use only the supplied power unit and accessories.
- Connect to the mains according to the installation instructions and the identification label on the power unit.
- Using unrecommended power sources may cause overheating, deformation, electric discharge, or fire.
- The coaxial cable shield should be connected to the building's power supply earth.
Accessibility & Electrical Overload
- Ensure the power unit is easily accessible and close to the equipment for quick unplugging.
- Do not overload mains sockets or extensions to prevent fire or electric shock.
Damage Requiring Repair
- Unplug the product and have it repaired by qualified after-sales service if:
- The power supply or plug is damaged.
- A supplied cable is damaged or frayed.
- Liquid has spilled into the product, or it has been exposed to rain or water.
- The product does not function normally or its performance varies considerably.
- The product has fallen or is damaged.
- There is any sign of overheating.
- If small metal objects enter the product, disconnect immediately (risk of electric shock) and contact Customer Service. Do not reconnect until foreign bodies are removed.
- Unplug immediately if you notice a burning smell or smoke. Do not open the product yourself due to electric shock risk.
Regulatory Information
- This equipment is designed for private use inside a building. Ethernet and telephony ports are for indoor cable circuits within the building.
- Wireless device usage may be prohibited in certain environments (e.g., airports). Ask for permission before use if in doubt.
- Sagemcom Broadband SAS is not responsible for non-compliance with regulations or radio interference caused to third parties due to non-compliance.

- Restrictions: Certain restrictions apply to this radio equipment in various European countries and the UK, particularly for the 5150-5350 MHz frequency band, which is limited to indoor use.
