- Always follow the installation instructions provided with the product.
- Do not connect or use the product during thunderstorms.
- Acoustic shocks may occur in the earpiece during voice communication, potentially causing deafness due to excessive acoustic pressure.
- The product must be installed inside a building and its case must not be opened.
- Connect an Ethernet cable to the rear panel's Ethernet port and to a computer's Ethernet port.
- Connect only to in-house equipment (SELV interface).
- Connect a telephony cable to the telephony port on the rear panel and to a phone's telephony port.
- Keep plastic bags out of reach of children as they pose a suffocation risk.
- The product is designed for vertical use.
- If wall-mounting, use screws and dowels appropriate for the wall material (recommended screw diameter: 3.5 mm, length: 30 mm or more; recommended dowel diameter: 5 mm, length: 30 mm).
Climatic Conditions
This product is designed for use in an office or room with a maximum ambient temperature of 40°C (104°F). Avoid installation in areas with excessive sunshine or heat radiation. Do not install in locations with heat build-up (e.g., on or under other electrical equipment) or exposure to moisture or condensation. Install in an environment classified as pollution degree 2 (pollution-free environment with dry, non-conducting pollution).
Water and Moisture
Do not install the product in damp or dusty environments. Avoid contact with water or other liquids. No liquid should enter the product. Do not use the product near water outlets (bath, washbasin, washing machine), in damp basements, or near swimming pools. If liquid enters the product, switch it off immediately or unplug the power cord. Continued use may cause electric discharge or fire. Allow the product to dry completely if moved from a cold to a warm environment to prevent condensation.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Disconnect the product from the mains socket and computer before cleaning. Do not use detergents, aerosols, chemicals, alcohol, benzene, diluents, or flammable products, as they may cause fire. Do not dismantle the product; internal parts are not user-replaceable and opening covers may expose you to dangerous voltages. Incorrect re-assembly can lead to electric shock. Contact customer service for repairs or servicing.
Power Supply
Use only the supplied power unit and accessories. Connect to the mains according to installation instructions and the identification label on the power unit. Using non-recommended power sources may cause overheating, deformation, electric discharge, or fire.
Accessibility & Electrical Overload
Ensure the power unit is easily accessible and close to the equipment for quick unplugging in case of issues. Avoid plugging too many devices into a mains socket block or extension cords to reduce fire or electric shock risks.
Damage Requiring Repair
Unplug the appliance and contact qualified after-sales service if:
- The power supply or plug is damaged.
- A supplied cable is damaged or frayed.
- Liquid has been spilled into the appliance, or it has been exposed to rain or water.
- The appliance does not function normally or shows performance variations.
- The appliance has fallen or is damaged.
- There are signs of overheating.
If small metal objects enter the appliance, disconnect it immediately (risk of electric shock) and contact Customer Service. Do not reconnect until foreign bodies are removed. Unplug immediately if you notice a burning smell or smoke. Do not open the product yourself due to the risk of electric shock.
