General Information

Refrigerant System

- Includes an R32 alarm output plug for notification or interlock of third-party equipment upon R32 leak detection (VSTAT10P-1 accessory required).
Indoor Fan
- Equipped with a smart pressure control feature that adjusts fan speed based on External Static Pressure (ESP) for consistent heating and cooling power.
- Features a smart-tuning function to provide optimized comfort by allowing occupants to adjust the fan CFM curve for airflow customization.
- Includes automatic air volume scanning for simplified setup and optimized occupant comfort settings.
Controls
- Control wiring requires 2 x 16 AWG wire.
- Operation is managed via a wired remote controller model VSTAT04P-1 (purchased separately).
- Supports dual set temperature when connected to compatible controllers.
- Wired or wireless controllers must be purchased separately.
External Heat Control
- External heat control functionality allows configuration of fan operation during auxiliary heat, defrost, and emergency heat modes (VSTAT10P-1 accessory required).
- Configuration settings include options for outside ambient external heat lockout, outside ambient compressor lockout, and time delays (VSTAT10P-1 accessory required).
- Emergency heat functionality enables the system to continue controlling the external heat source even when system errors prevent the heat pump from operating (VSTAT10P-1 accessory required).
Convenience
- Features an Emergency Temperature Output (ETO) function. When the indoor unit is in an error status or room temperature exceeds a configurable level, the system outputs a signal to an external source, such as a backup system, building management system, or alert device (e.g., status light, warning lamp, buzzer).
