HOMCOM Shoe Storage Bench Assembly Instructions
This document provides assembly instructions for the HOMCOM Shoe Storage Bench, models 837-559V70 and 837-559V80. Please read carefully and retain for future reference.
Important Information
For domestic use only.
Instructions for use:
- Put the chair stably on a flat floor.
- Stay away from open flames.
- Avoid overloading the chair.
Precautions before assembly:
- Prepare a clean and dry mounting area.
- Verify that the product is not damaged.
- Check that none of the pieces are missing.
Maintenance:
- Clean with a soft fabric.
- Check the seating regularly.
Storage conditions:
- The fabric should be stored completely dry, in a clean and dry place to avoid the risks of mold.
Caution: Beware of crushing and cutting hazards during assembly. The manufacturer declines all responsibility in case of damages due to bad installation or withering. If the seating is fitted with powered seat height adjustments, only trained personnel may replace or repair those components.
Assembly Steps
The following steps detail the assembly process. Please refer to the diagrams for visual guidance.
Step 1: Attaching Side Panels
Attach part 2 to part 1 using hardware A (x8), E (x2), and I (x2). Ensure the starting position of the cam lock (I) is correct before inserting the quickfit connector (A). Turn the cam lock clockwise to tighten.
Step 2: Attaching Support Bars
Attach part 6 and part 5 to part 2 using hardware B (x4) and C (x3). Ensure the cam lock (B) is correctly oriented before inserting the quickfit connector (C).
Step 3: Attaching Back Panel
Attach part 3 to part 2 using hardware B (x4) and C (x3). Ensure the cam lock (B) is correctly oriented before inserting the quickfit connector (C).
Step 4: Attaching Support Rails
Attach part 7 and part 8 to part 9 using hardware F (x2). Ensure the quickfit connector (F) is flush with the panel and do not overtighten or undertighten.
Step 5: Attaching Top Panel
Attach part 1 to part 7, 8, and 9 using hardware A (x6). Ensure the quickfit connectors (A) are properly aligned and tightened.
Step 6: Attaching Base Supports
Attach part 8 and part 7 to part 1 using hardware F (x6). Ensure the quickfit connectors (F) are properly aligned and tightened.
Step 7: Assembling the Main Body
Connect part 1 to parts 2, 3, 5, and 6 using hardware B (x6) and C (x2). Ensure the cam lock (B) is correctly oriented before inserting the quickfit connector (C). Use hardware J (x2) to secure part 3 to part 5.
Step 8: Attaching Brackets and Base
Attach brackets L (x1) and R (x1) to the base of the unit using hardware I (x8) and H (x1). Secure part 10 to the base using hardware G (x1).
Step 9: Inserting Drawers
Insert parts 11 and 12 into the unit. Use hardware I (x4) to secure the drawer runners. Use hardware M (x2) to attach the drawer fronts.
Step 10: Final Assembly
Attach part 1 to the assembled unit using hardware D (x2) and M (x2). Ensure the cam lock (D) is correctly oriented before inserting the quickfit connector (M).
Step 11: Securing Components
Secure the assembled unit using hardware I (x2). Ensure the quickfit connectors (I) are properly aligned and tightened.
Step 12: Placing the Cushion
Place part 13 (cushion) onto the top of the assembled unit.
Step 13: Final Check
Ensure all parts are securely fastened and the unit is stable.
