Where to Place Your Outdoor Wall Lights
If you have one light next to your entryway or garage door, position it approximately 1/3 of the door's height. For lights on each side of the door, place them 1/4 of the door's height from the floor. Measure the door height, then divide by 4 for two lights or 3 for one light. For example, on an 80-inch tall door, two lights should be placed 20 inches from the floor. Lights should be positioned 66 inches from the floor or ground to effectively illuminate the lock and handle, and 6 inches from the edge of the door. If using a single light, place it on the side of the door closest to the door handle.

This fixture features an intelligent dusk-to-dawn sensor that automatically transitions the light from off to on as nightfall approaches. It adjusts to ambient light levels below 20 LUX. In the morning, when brightness exceeds 90 LUX, the light turns off, conserving energy and eliminating the need for manual operation.
Manual Control Option
For users who prefer manual control, the fixture includes a convenient rubber cap. Simply slide this cap over the sensor to disable the dusk-to-dawn feature and operate the light manually.

Installation Steps for 7072-1BK
- Unscrew screw G from the lamp body and remove lamp holder I.
- Remove nut F from the lamp body and remove hanging plate C.
- Use screw E to lock hanging board C onto junction box A.
- Use terminal B to connect the car body in black, white, and black respectively. Connect the grounding wire and input wire separately.
- Use nut F to lock the lamp body onto the hanging plate C.
- Transfer the J knob of the light bulb to the lamp body.
- Use screw G to lock lamp holder I onto the lamp body.
Installation is complete.
Sealing the Fixture
After securing the fixture to the wall, it is recommended that the gap between the wall and the fixture backplate be sealed on the top and both sides with a good quality waterproof caulk or silicone sealant (NOT INCLUDED).
