Key Features
Dusk-to-Dawn Sensor: The fixture is equipped with an intelligent dusk-to-dawn sensor that automatically turns the light on as nightfall approaches and off in the morning. Manual Control: For users who prefer manual control, a convenient rubber cap is included. Simply slide this cap over the sensor to disable the dusk-to-dawn feature.
Applicable Bulb Types: A60, T45, ST64.
Where to Place Your Outdoor Wall Lights
Proper placement ensures optimal illumination and functionality. The following guidelines are recommended:
- Single Light Placement: If installing one light next to an entryway or garage door, position it approximately 1/3 of the door's height from the ground. For example, on an 80-inch tall door, the light should be placed about 26.7 inches from the ground.
- Dual Light Placement: If installing lights on both sides of a door, position them approximately 1/4 of the door's height from the ground. For an 80-inch door, this would be 20 inches from the ground for each light.
- Illumination Height: Lights should ideally be placed around 66 inches from the floor or ground to properly illuminate the lock and handle area.
- Edge Clearance: Position lights at least 6 inches from the edge of the door.
- Single Light Side: If using only one light, place it on the side of the door closest to the door handle.
Diagram Description: An illustration shows a house exterior with dimensions indicating a 15.6" tall fixture, an 80" door, and recommended light placement at 60" height for each fixture when two are used on an 80" door (calculated as 80" * 0.75 = 60" for two lights, or 80"/4 = 20" from ground for placement height).
