This document provides operations and installation instructions for the 4MODERN HOME 7069-2BK outdoor wall light fixture. It features a dusk-to-dawn sensor for automatic operation.

Placement Guidelines

Proper placement ensures optimal illumination and sensor function.

• Single Light: Place approximately 1/3 of the door's height from the floor.
• Two Lights: Place approximately 1/4 of the door's height from the floor, one on each side of the door.
• Example: For an 80" tall door, two lights should be placed approximately 20" from the floor.
• Mounting Height: Lights should be mounted 66 inches from the floor or ground to properly illuminate the lock and handle area.
• Edge Placement: Lights should be placed 6 inches from the edge of the door.
• Single Light Side: If using only one light, place it on the side of the door closest to the door handle.

Yes, this fixture has an intelligent dusk-to-dawn sensor that automatically adjusts to ambient light. It turns on when light levels drop below 20 LUX and turns off when brightness exceeds 90 LUX, saving energy and eliminating manual operation.

2. What could be the reason if the lamp does not turn on during installation?

If the lamp remains off during installation, it is likely due to the dusk-to-dawn sensor's natural deactivation during daylight hours. To test functionality, cover the sensor with your hand or a cloth after turning on the power switch. If the lamp illuminates, it confirms the lamp is working, and the issue relates to the sensor's automatic day/night cycle.

3. What if I do not need the dusk-to-dawn functionality?

This fixture includes a convenient rubber cap to disable the dusk-to-dawn feature. Simply slide the cap over the sensor for manual control over the lamp's operation.

Installation Steps (Model: 7069-2BK)

Please read all instructions carefully. Before proceeding with installation, ensure that the power supply is turned off and remains off until installation is completed.

1. Turn off nut E from the lamp body and remove the hanging plate C.
2. Install the hanging plate C lock onto the junction box A using screw D.
3. Apply the threaded rod J to the lamp.
4. Lock the handle I onto the lamp body using ball nut G and silicone pad H.
5. Lock the lamp body onto the hanging plate C using nut E.
6. Install bulb K into the lamp body.

Installation completed.
