Assembly Steps
Using Cam Lock and Quickfit
Familiarize yourself with the following connection types:
- Quickfit: Tighten the quickfit until its shoulder is flush with the panel. Do not overtighten or undertighten. [✔️ Tighten] [❌ Do not overtighten/undertighten]
- Cam Lock: When fitting a cam lock, ensure the starting position is correct before you insert the connecting quickfit. The cam lock head should be in the center of the cam lock when the two panels are joined. The cam lock should be inserted before the quickfit. Turn the cam lock clockwise to tighten. Step 01: Assemble Shoe Bench Base Structure
Attach the two vertical dividers (Part 7) to one of the base panels (Part 5). Align the pre-drilled holes on the bottom edge of Part 7 with the corresponding holes on Part 5. Secure each divider using two large screws (Hardware H) per divider, screwing them through Part 5 into the bottom edge of Part 7.
Diagram shows Part 5 flat, with two Part 7 pieces standing vertically on it, attached by screws H.
Step 02: Continue Shoe Bench Base Assembly
Attach the second base panel (Part 5) to the other side of the vertical dividers (Part 7). Align the pre-drilled holes on the top edge of Part 7 with the corresponding holes on the second Part 5. Secure each divider using two large screws (Hardware H) per divider, screwing them through the second Part 5 into the top edge of Part 7. This forms the lower box structure of the shoe bench.
Diagram shows the structure from Step 01, with a second Part 5 being attached to the top of the Part 7 dividers using screws H.
Step 03: Install Horizontal and Vertical Dividers
Insert the two horizontal dividers (Part 6) and the two internal vertical dividers (Part 8) into the slots and pre-drilled holes of the assembled base structure. Ensure they are correctly oriented. Secure these dividers using cam locks (Hardware C).
Diagram shows the shoe bench structure with horizontal (6) and vertical (8) dividers being slotted into place, and cam locks (C) being used for connection.
Step 04: Continue Internal Divider Assembly
Continue inserting and securing the remaining horizontal (Part 6) and internal vertical dividers (Part 8) to complete the internal compartment structure of the shoe bench. Use cam locks (Hardware C) for secure connections.
Diagram shows further assembly of internal dividers (6, 8) using cam locks (C).
Step 05: Attach Left Side Panel
Take the left side panel (Part 2) and align it with the left edge of the assembled shoe bench structure. Ensure the pre-drilled holes and cam lock housings align. Secure Part 2 to the structure using cam locks (Hardware C) and screws (Hardware D).
Diagram shows Part 2 being attached to the left side of the shoe bench assembly using cam locks (C) and screws (D).
Step 06: Attach Right Side Panel
Take the right side panel (Part 3) and align it with the right edge of the assembled shoe bench structure. Ensure the pre-drilled holes and cam lock housings align. Secure Part 3 to the structure using cam locks (Hardware C) and screws (Hardware D).
Diagram shows Part 3 being attached to the right side of the shoe bench assembly using cam locks (C) and screws (D).
Step 07: Attach Shoe Bench Top Panel
Insert eight cam dowels (Hardware B) into the pre-drilled holes on the top edges of the side panels (Parts 2 and 3) and the internal dividers. Place the top panel (Part 1) onto the assembled shoe bench structure, aligning the holes on the underside of Part 1 with the cam dowels (B). Insert eight cam locks (Hardware C) into the larger holes on the underside of Part 1 and turn them clockwise to secure the top panel.
Diagram shows cam dowels (B) being inserted into the top edges of the shoe bench structure, then Part 1 being placed on top, and cam locks (C) being used to secure it from underneath.
Step 08: Secure Top Panel Further
Continue securing the top panel (Part 1) to the side panels and internal dividers using the remaining cam dowels (Hardware A) and cam locks (Hardware C). Ensure all connections are tight.
Diagram shows further use of cam dowels (A) and cam locks (C) to fully secure Part 1.
Step 09: Attach Shoe Bench Back Panel
Align the back panel (Part 4) with the rear edges of the assembled shoe bench. Ensure all edges are flush. Secure Part 4 to the structure using cam locks (Hardware C) and screws (Hardware D).
Diagram shows Part 4 being attached to the back of the shoe bench using cam locks (C) and screws (D).
Step 10: Install Shelves
Insert the shelf pins (Hardware E) into the desired pre-drilled holes within the shoe bench compartments. Place the two shelves (Part 9) onto the installed shelf pins.
Diagram shows shelf pins (E) being inserted into the side walls of the compartments, and shelves (9) being placed on top of them.
Step 11: Assemble Coat Rack Shelf
Take the shelf panel (Part 10) and the two side supports (Part 11). Align the pre-drilled holes on the ends of Part 10 with the corresponding holes on Part 11. Secure each side support using two cam locks (Hardware C) and two screws (Hardware D).
Diagram shows Part 11 being attached to the ends of Part 10 using cam locks (C) and screws (D).
Step 12: Attach Coat Rack Shelf Back Panel and Front Piece
Attach the back panel (Part 12) to the rear of the coat rack shelf assembly. Then, attach the decorative front piece (Part 13) to the front of the shelf panel (Part 10). Use cam locks (Hardware C) and screws (Hardware I) as indicated in the diagram.
Diagram shows Part 12 being attached to the back of the coat rack shelf, and Part 13 being attached to the front of Part 10 using cam locks (C) and screws (I).
Step 13: Attach Hooks
Position the three hooks (Hardware G) onto the underside of the coat rack shelf panel (Part 10) at the marked locations. Secure each hook using two screws (Hardware F).
Diagram shows hooks (G) being screwed onto the underside of the coat rack shelf (10) using screws (F).
Step 14: Wall Mounting and Anti-Dumping Belt Installation
This step involves securing the assembled coat rack shelf to the wall for stability and safety. Follow these instructions:
- Anti-Dumping Belt: This belt is designed to fix the product to the wall and prevent it from tipping over. It can be used or not, depending on your needs and safety requirements.
- Wall Attachment:
- Determine the desired mounting location on the wall for the coat rack shelf.
- Use the provided screws (Hardware D) and wall anchors (Hardware J) to securely attach the coat rack shelf to the wall.
- For Solid Walls: Use expansion screws and self-tapping screws (Hardware D and J).
- For Wooden Walls: Use only self-tapping screws (Hardware D).
- Ensure the screws are tightened securely but do not overtighten them.
Diagram shows the assembled coat rack shelf being mounted to a wall. It illustrates the use of screws (D) and wall anchors (J) for solid walls, and screws (D) for wooden walls. The anti-dumping belt is shown attached to the top of the coat rack and the wall.
