Getting Started
Automatic Pairing
Step 1: Prepare Earbuds
Remove earbuds from the charging case and peel off the protective stickers from each earbud.
Step 2: Initiate Pairing
Press and hold the touch sensor on each earbud for more than 3 seconds. A flashing blue and white light on one earbud indicates it is ready to pair with your device.
Connecting via Bluetooth
Select "Epic Air Sport ANC" in your device's settings. Two beeps will sound, followed by solid white lights, indicating a successful connection.
Adding New / Additional Bluetooth Devices
Turn OFF Bluetooth on any previously connected device. Turn ON Bluetooth on the new device. Remove the earbuds from the case. They will automatically enter Bluetooth Pairing mode. Select "Epic Air Sport ANC" in the new device's settings to connect.

Controls
The earbuds feature touch sensors for various functions.
Left Earbud Touch Sensor
- Volume Down: Single tap.
- Siri (iOS) or "OK Google" (Android): Double tap.
- Awareness Mode / ANC On / ANC Off: Press and hold for more than 1 second.
- EQ Change: Triple tap.
Right Earbud Touch Sensor
- Volume Up: Single tap.
- Play / Pause: Double tap.
- Next Track: Press and hold for more than 1 second.
- EQ Change: Triple tap.
Answering/Ending Calls
- Answer Call: Single tap (left or right earbud).
- End Call: Double tap (left or right earbud).
- Reject Incoming Call: Double tap and press and hold for more than 1 second (left or right earbud).
- Music / Movie Mode: Press and hold both touch sensors for more than 3 seconds.
Audio Alerts
- Power On: Chime sound.
- Bluetooth Pairing: "Pairing" – The Epic Air Sport ANC is ready to pair with your Bluetooth device.
- Awareness Mode On/Off: One beep / Two beeps.
- ANC On/Off: Chime sound.
- Bluetooth Connected: Two beeps. The earbuds are connected to the device.
- Battery Full: "Battery Full" (80-100%).
- Battery Medium: "Battery Medium" (20-80%).
- Low Battery: "Low Battery" (less than 20%. When power drops to 10%, "Low Battery" will sound once).
- Power Off: Chime sound.
Power Off Without Charging Case: Turn off your Bluetooth from your device settings. The earbuds will turn off automatically after 3 minutes.
EQ Modes
Triple-tap either earbud to cycle through different EQ settings. Audio prompts will announce the EQ setting. The JLab Air ANC App allows further customization of each EQ setting.
- JLab Signature (Single Beep): Enhanced vocals and bass with JLab C3™ signature sound.
- Balanced (Two Beeps): Even sound, with minor enhancements.
- Bass Boost (Three Beeps): Amplified bass and sub-bass.
- Beep (Custom EQ): Custom EQ setting (download the JLab Air ANC App to customize).
Auto Power On/Off
Step 1: Charging
Placing the earbuds in the charging case turns them OFF and begins charging. Blue lights indicate the earbuds are charging and will turn off when fully charged.
Step 2: Powering On
When removed from the charging case, the earbuds will automatically turn on and connect.
Charging
Wired Charging
Connect the Epic Air Sport ANC to a computer or USB 5V 1A (or less) output device.
LEDs will flash white while charging and turn solid white when fully charged.
Wireless Charging
Place the charging case on a wireless charging platform.
LEDs will flash white while charging and turn solid white when fully charged.
Ear Fit
Experiment with all included ear tips for the best ear fit and proper seal for optimal sound.
Insert the earbud into your ear canal and gently rotate to find the best fit.
Troubleshooting
No Sound on One or Both Earbuds (Manual Reset)
- Go to your Bluetooth device settings and select "Forget Epic Air Sport ANC".
- Place earbuds in the charging case. Tap the touch sensor on ONE earbud 7 times. The light will flash blue 3 times.
- Repeat for the other earbud. Tap the touch sensor 7 times. The light will flash blue 3 times.
- Remove both earbuds from the charging case. Wait for one earbud to turn solid white and the other to flash blue/white. They are now ready to pair with your device.
Bluetooth Device Not Connecting / Reconnecting
- Go to your Bluetooth device settings and select "Forget Epic Air Sport ANC".
- Turn Bluetooth OFF and then ON.
- Remove earbuds from the case. Wait for one to turn solid white and the other to flash blue/white.
- Select "Epic Air Sport ANC" in your device settings to reconnect.

Quick Tips
- Either the left or right earbud can be used independently for music and phone calls. Select one to connect and remove it from the case.
- Only ONE Bluetooth device can connect at a time. Turn off Bluetooth on unwanted devices and turn on Bluetooth on the desired device to connect.
- Ensure earbuds are completely dry before placing them in the charging case to prevent damage to the case.
Warnings
- Ensure earbuds are completely dry before placing them in the charging case.
- Moist or wet earbuds can damage the charging case. Damage to the charging case from water/sweat will void the warranty.
Cautions
- Avoid excessive heat, cold, and moisture.
- Avoid dropping or crushing the earbuds.
- Dirt can accumulate in the earbud caps and reduce sound quality. Carefully clean dirt with a cotton swab or other small tool to improve sound quality.
- If you experience discomfort or pain, try lowering the volume or discontinuing use temporarily.
- If you experience regular discomfort while using this product, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
- When not in use, store your earbuds in a safe place, treating them like a pair of sunglasses.
