First Setup

1. Automatic Earbud Connection

   Step A: Remove the earbuds from the charging case and peel off the protective stickers.

   Step B: Press and hold each earbud for over 3 seconds. A flashing blue and white light on one earbud indicates it is ready to pair with your device.

2. Connect Bluetooth

   Select "JLab Epic Air ANC" in your device's Bluetooth settings. An audible chime of two beeps followed by solid white lights indicates you are connected.

Add New or Additional Bluetooth Devices

Turn off Bluetooth on any previously connected device. Turn on Bluetooth on the new device. Remove the earbuds from the case. The earbuds will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode. Select "JLab Epic Air ANC" in the new device's settings to connect.

Download the App

Personalize Epic Air ANC features and update to the latest software. Download the JLab Air ANC app on the Google Play Store or Apple Store.

Controls

Left Touch Sensor

• Volume Down: Single tap
• Siri (iOS) or "OK Google" (Android): Double tap
• Aware Mode / Activate or Deactivate Active Noise Cancellation: Press and hold for over 1 second
• EQ Change: Triple tap

Right Touch Sensor

• Volume Up: Single tap
• Play/Pause: Double tap
• Next Track: Press and hold for over 1 second
• EQ Change: Triple tap

Answer Call: Single tap on left or right earbud.

Hang Up Call: Double tap on left or right earbud.

Reject Incoming Call: Press and hold for over 1 second on left or right earbud.

Audio Notifications

• Power On: Chime
• Bluetooth Pairing: "Ready to Pair". Epic Air ANC is ready to pair with your Bluetooth device.
• Aware Mode On/Off: 1 Beep / 2 Beeps
• Active Noise Cancellation On/Off: Chime
• Bluetooth Connected: 2 Beeps. The earbud is connected to the device.
• Battery Full: "Battery Full" (100-80%)
• Battery Medium: "Battery Medium" (80-20%)
• Battery Low: "Battery Low" (Less than 20%. When power drops to 10%, "Low Battery" will play once.)
• Power Off: Chime

Music / Movie Mode

Press and hold both touch sensors simultaneously for over 3 seconds.

Power Off Without Charging Case

Turn off Bluetooth from your device settings. The earbuds will power off after 3 minutes.

Equalizer Modes

Triple tap any earbud for different EQ settings. Audio cues will inform you of the EQ setting (Epic Air ANC has 4 EQ settings). Customize each EQ setting by downloading the JLab Air ANC app from the Apple Store or Google Play Store.

• JLab Signature (One Beep): JLab C3™ with amplified voice and bass.
• Balanced (Two Beeps): Even sound without additional sound enhancements.
• Bass Boost (Three Beeps): Amplified bass and sub-bass.
• Beep: Custom EQ setting (download the JLab Air ANC app to customize).

Automatic Power On/Off

1. When placing the earbuds in the charging case, they will power off and begin charging. Blue lights indicate the earbuds are charging and will turn off when fully charged.
2. When removing the earbuds from the charging case, they will automatically power on and connect.

Charging

Wired Charging

Connect the Epic Air ANC to a computer or a 5V 1A (or less) USB charging device. The LEDs blink white during charging and turn solid white when fully charged.

Wireless Charging

Place the charging case on a wireless charging pad. The LEDs blink white during charging and turn solid white when fully charged.

Fit

Try all the ear tips for the best fit and seal. Place each earbud in the ear canal and twist slightly for a better fit.

Troubleshooting

No Audio in One Earbud or Earbuds Disconnected (Manual Reset)

1. Go to your Bluetooth device settings and select "Forget JLab Epic Air ANC". [Visual Description: Screenshot of phone's Bluetooth settings.]
2. Place the earbuds in the charging case and quickly tap the touch sensor on ONE earbud 7 times. The light will flash blue 3 times. [Visual Description: Diagram showing quick tap on touch sensor.]
3. Repeat with the other earbud. Quickly tap the sensor 7 times. The blue light will flash 3 times.
4. Remove both earbuds from the charging case. Wait for one earbud's light to turn solid white and the other to flash blue and white. You are now ready to pair your Bluetooth device.

Bluetooth Device Not Connecting / Reconnecting

1. Go to your Bluetooth device settings and select "Forget JLab Epic Air ANC". [Visual Description: Screenshot of phone's Bluetooth settings.]

3. Remove the earbuds from the case. Wait for one earbud's light to turn solid white and the other to flash blue and white.
4. Select "JLab Epic Air ANC" in your device's settings to reconnect.

Quick Tips

• The left or right earbud can be used independently for music and phone calls. Simply choose one and remove it from the case to connect.
• Only ONE Bluetooth device can be connected at a time. Turn off Bluetooth on unwanted devices and turn on Bluetooth on your chosen device to connect.
• Completely dry the earbuds before placing them in the charging case to prevent any damage to the case.

Attention

Completely dry the earbuds before placing them in the charging case. If the earbuds are damp or wet, this may cause damage to the charging case. The warranty will be voided if the charging case is damaged by water or sweat.

Precautions

• Avoid extreme heat, cold, and humidity.
• Avoid dropping or impacting the earbuds.
• Earwax may build up on the ear tips, reducing sound quality. Carefully remove earwax with a cotton swab or other small object to improve sound quality.
• If you experience discomfort or pain, try lowering the volume or stop using them for a while.
• If you experience regular discomfort during use of this product, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
• We recommend treating your earbuds like sunglasses, and storing them in a safe place when not in use.
