First Configuration

1. Put in Earbuds

   Press and hold both buttons for at least 3 seconds to power on. One earbud will flash blue/white, indicating it is ready to pair with your device.

2. Connect via Bluetooth

   Select "JLab JBuds Air ANC" in your device's settings. Two short audio beeps and solid white lights indicate connection.

   Example: Settings > Bluetooth > Select "JLab JBuds Air ANC" ?

Adding New / Additional Bluetooth Devices

Turn off Bluetooth on all previously connected devices. Turn on Bluetooth on the new device. The earbuds will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode. In the new device's settings, select "JLab JBuds Air ANC" to connect.

Earbud Functions

Left Earbud

• Volume Down: Single tap ?
• Voice Assistant (Siri / OK Google): Double tap ?️
• Awareness / ANC On/Off: Press and hold for 1+ second ?
• Power On: Press and hold for 3+ seconds ?
• Change EQ: Triple tap ?️

Right Earbud

• Volume Up: Single tap ?
• Answer Call: Single tap ✔️
• Disconnect: Double tap ? [Disconnect]
• Reject Incoming Call: Press and hold for 1+ second ? [Reject]
• Play / Pause: Double tap ▶️ / ⏸️
• Skip Forward: Press and hold for 1+ second ⏩
• Power On: Press and hold for 3+ seconds ?
• Change EQ: Triple tap ?️

Audio Signals

• Power On: Beep
• Connected to Bluetooth: 2 short beeps ?
• Low Battery (<20%): "Low Battery" voice prompt
• Power Off: Beep

Music / Be Aware Mode

Press and hold both touch sensors simultaneously for 3+ seconds.

Power Off Without Case

Turn off Bluetooth on your device. The earbuds will automatically power off after 3 minutes.

EQ³ Sound Mode

Tap the right or left earbud 3 times to cycle through different EQ settings. The JBuds Air ANC offers 3 EQ settings:

• JLab Signature (One Beep): Custom JLab C3™™ sound with boosted vocals and bass.
• Balanced (Two Beeps): Even sound with no extra correction.
• Bass Boost (Three Beeps): Amplified bass and sub-bass.

Charging Earbuds

1. Align the L and R earbuds correctly in the charging case for proper charging. The earbuds will automatically power off and begin charging. Blue indicator lights will show charging status and turn off when fully charged. ⚡
2. Earbuds automatically power on and re-pair with the device when removed from the case.

Charging the Case

Connect the JBuds Air ANC to a computer or a USB 5V 1A (or less) power source. LED lights pulse white while charging and stay solid when fully charged. ⚡

Assembly

Try the optional Cush Fins™ and ear tips for the best fit and seal. The Cush Fin should be positioned to align the contour around the microphone port.

Troubleshooting

No Sound in One Earbud / Disconnected Earbuds (Manual Reset)

1. Go to your device's Bluetooth settings and "Forget" JLab JBuds Air ANC. ? [Forget Device]
2. Open the charging case and keep both earbuds inside.
3. On ONE earbud, quickly tap the touch sensor 7 times. The light will flash blue 3 times, then turn off. ? [Tap 7 times]
4. Repeat step 3 for the other earbud.
5. Wait 10 seconds, then open the charging case. Wait for both earbuds to flash blue/white. You are now ready to pair with your Bluetooth device.

Echo During Calls

If you experience echo during calls, ensure the Cush Fin is not blocking the microphone port. ? [Microphone Port Check]

Quick Tips

• Each earbud can connect and be used independently. Simply pull an earbud from the charging case, and it will automatically connect.
• Selecting the correct ear tip significantly improves audio quality due to proper sealing. Try all ear tips for best results.

Warnings

• Completely dry earbuds before placing them in the charging case to avoid damaging the case. Earbuds are sweat and water-resistant, but the case is not. ? [Dry Earbuds]
• Avoid very high or very low temperatures and humidity.
• Do not drop or crush the earbuds.
• Earwax can build up in ear tips and degrade sound quality. To clean, gently remove earwax with a cotton swab or small tool.
• If you experience discomfort or pain, try lowering the volume or discontinuing use for a while.
• If you regularly experience discomfort using this product, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
