Getting Started

1. Auto-Connecting Earbuds

Press and hold both buttons for 3+ seconds to POWER ON. One earbud will flash blue/white, indicating it is ready to pair with your device.

2. Bluetooth Connection

Select 'JLab JBuds Air ANC' in your device settings. A voice prompt 'Bluetooth Connected' and flashing white lights will indicate you are connected.

Adding New/Additional Bluetooth Devices

Turn OFF Bluetooth on any previously connected device. Turn ON Bluetooth on the new device. The earbuds will automatically pair via Bluetooth. Select 'JLab JBuds Air ANC' in your device settings.

Button Functions

Left Earbud

Volume Down: Tap once.
Siri (iOS) or OK Google (Android): Double tap.
Be Aware / ANC ON / ANC OFF: Press and hold 1+ second.
Power On: Press and hold 3+ seconds.
Change EQ: Tap three times (JBuds Air ANC will cycle through 3 EQ settings).

Right Earbud

Volume Up: Tap once.
Answer Call: Tap once.
End Call: Double tap.
Reject Incoming Call: Press and hold 1+ second.
Play/Pause: Double tap.
Skip Forward: Press and hold 1+ second.
Power On: Press and hold 3+ seconds.
Change EQ: Tap three times (JBuds Air ANC will cycle through 3 EQ settings).

Music/Movie Mode

Press and hold both touch sensors simultaneously for 3+ seconds.

Turn Off (Outside of Charging Case)

Turn OFF your Bluetooth from your device settings. The earbuds will then turn OFF after 3 minutes.

Voice Prompts

'Ready to connect': JBuds Air are ready to pair with a Bluetooth device.
'Bluetooth Connected': The earbud is connected to the device.
'Battery Full': 100-75%
'Battery Medium': 75-25%
'Battery Low': Less than 25% (When battery reaches 10%, a 'Battery Low' notification will play once.)

Custom EQ3 Sound Modes

Triple tap the right or left earbud for different EQ settings (JBuds Air ANC earbuds will cycle through three EQ settings).

JLab Signature: Proprietary JLab C3™ sound with amplified bass and vocals.
Balanced: Even sound with no additional enhancements.
Bass Boost: Amplified bass and sub-bass.

Charging the Earbuds

Step 1

For proper charging, ensure the correct L and R letters on the charging case match. The earbuds will automatically turn OFF and begin charging.

Step 2

Earbuds automatically turn ON and reconnect to the device when removed from the case.

Charging Case

Connect JBuds Air ANC to a computer or USB 5V 1A (or less) power adapter. Lights flash white while charging, and turn solid white when fully charged.

Fitting

Try all Cush Fin™ attachments and ear tips for the best fit and seal.

Align Cush Fins with the positioning of the wing around the microphone hole.

Find Your Earbuds & App

Download the Tile app and activate it to find your earbuds. Learn more at jlab.com/tileapp. Activating Tile will shorten earbud playtime.

Download the App

Customize JBuds Air ANC features and update the latest firmware. Download the JLab Sound app from the Apple/Google Play store.

Call Feedback

If you experience microphone echo or call quality issues with JBuds Air ANC, ensure the Cush Fin does not block the microphone port.

Troubleshooting

No Sound in One Earbud or Earbud is Disconnected (Manual Reset)

Go to your device's Bluetooth settings and forget JBuds Air ANC.

Open the charging case and place the earbuds inside.
On ONE earbud, tap the touch sensor 7 times quickly. The light will flash blue 3x then turn off. Repeat the same steps for the other earbud.

Wait 10 seconds and open the charging case. Wait for both earbuds to flash blue/white. You are now ready to pair with your device.

Quick Tips

Both earbuds can be connected to your device and used independently. Simply pull an earbud from the charging case, and it will automatically connect.
Choosing the correct ear tip significantly improves sound quality due to proper driver seal. Try all ear tips for the best results.

Warnings

Before placing earbuds in the charging case, dry them completely to prevent damage to the case. Earbuds are sweat/water resistant, but the case is not.

Earwax can accumulate in ear tips, degrading sound quality. Carefully remove earwax with a cotton swab or other small tool to improve sound quality. [Earwax Warning Icon]
If you experience discomfort or pain, try lowering the volume or discontinuing use. [Discomfort Warning Icon]
