• How often should I test my XINDUM smoke detector?

It is highly recommended to test your smoke detector manually once a week to ensure the device and buzzer are working properly. You can do this by pressing the TEST button on the alarm.

• Why is my XINDUM smoke alarm beeping every 40 seconds?

A beep every 40 seconds paired with a flashing red LED indicates a device fault status. Try turning it off and cleaning it with a vacuum to remove dust, then restart it. If the issue persists, contact XINDUM customer service.

• How do I silence a false alarm on my XINDUM detector?

You can press the physical 'TEST/HUSH' button on the center of the alarm to mute it for 10 minutes. For WiFi-enabled models, you can also silence the alarm using the Tuya or Smart Life app.

• Do I need to replace the batteries in my XINDUM smoke alarm?

Most XINDUM smoke alarms feature a built-in, sealed lithium battery designed to last for 10 years. These batteries are non-removable and do not need to be replaced. When the device reaches the end of its life, the entire unit should be replaced.
