AIRCARE support FAQ

Common questions about manuals, registration, and support for this brand.

  • How often should I change the wick in my AIRCARE humidifier?

Wicks should generally be replaced once per season or every 30 to 90 days depending on water quality and usage. If the wick becomes hard and brittle or stops absorbing water, it needs to be replaced.

  • How do I clean my humidifier?

Turn off and unplug the unit. Clean the base and tank with a mixture of water and white vinegar or an AIRCARE-approved cleaner to remove mineral buildup. Do not submerge the motor housing or controls in water.

  • Where is the serial number located?

The serial number is typically found on a sticker located on the back of the fan assembly or on the side of the motor housing.

  • Why is my humidifier not filling with water?

Ensure the float assembly is correctly installed and moving freely. If using a bottle model, ensure the cap plunger is engaging correctly with the base mechanism.

  • What additives can I put in the water?

It is recommended to use only bacteriostat treatments designed for evaporative humidifiers. Essential oils should not be used in evaporative models as they can damage the plastic and clog the wick.
