Installation Guide

Follow these steps to install your Franke Centro sink:

1. Preparation: Ensure you have all necessary tools: wrench ?, tape measure ?, screwdrivers ?, ruler ?, sealant gun ?, and drill ?. Prioritize safety by wearing gloves ?, safety glasses ?, a mask ?, and ear protection ?. A general warning ⚠️ is advised.
2. Countertop Cutout: Mark the cutout on your countertop using the sink template. For flush mounting, ensure the countertop thickness is approximately 7.5 mm (H 7,5 mm). Drill a pilot hole and carefully cut out the opening.
3. Sink Preparation: Install the drain assembly and overflow components into the sink. Apply a continuous bead of sealant around the sink rim for inset models or the countertop edge for flush mount models to ensure a watertight seal.
4. Positioning the Sink: Carefully place the sink into the prepared countertop opening. Ensure it is correctly aligned for either an inset or flush mount installation.
5. Securing the Sink (Inset Models): Attach the provided clips to the underside of the sink rim. Position these clips against the countertop edge and tighten them to secure the sink. Diagrams illustrate the placement and tightening mechanism, often involving a lever or screw. Some models may feature a 'Fastfix' system for expedited installation.
6. Securing the Sink (Flush Mount Models): For flush mount installations, the clips are attached to the underside of the countertop edge, drawing the sink down into the opening. Ensure all clips are evenly tightened to create a flush, secure fit.
7. Final Connections: Connect the faucet and plumbing according to standard plumbing practices. Ensure all water and waste connections are secure and leak-free.
8. Completion: The sink is now installed. Allow any sealant to cure for the recommended period (e.g., 24h ⏳) before heavy use. The final image shows the completed installation.

Care and Maintenance

To maintain the appearance and longevity of your Fragranite sink:

• Rinse the sink with water after each use. ✔️

• Use a non-abrasive sponge and mild detergent for regular cleaning. ✔️
• For stubborn stains, use the recommended Franke Colored Sink Cleaner. ✔️
• Avoid using:

• Abrasive scouring pads or steel wool. ❌
• Strong acids or alkalis. ❌
• Allowing water to stand in the sink for extended periods. ❌
