Installation Guide

Always follow safety guidelines during installation. It is recommended to wear protective gloves ?, safety glasses ?, hearing protection ?, and a dust mask ? to ensure a safe working environment.

Required Tools and Materials ?️

Ensure you have the necessary tools and materials before starting: a tape measure ?, ruler ?, screwdrivers ?, a sealant gun ?, and a drill. You will also need appropriate sealant and the provided mounting clips.

Undermount Installation Steps

This guide details the undermount installation process:

Step 1: Prepare Countertop Opening

Refer to the specific cutout dimensions for your chosen Franke Kubus 2 sink model. Ensure the countertop opening is precisely cut according to the specifications. A hole of Ø 35 mm is typically required for faucet installation.

Step 2: Secure Sink from Below

Position the sink under the prepared countertop opening. Secure the sink using the provided mounting clips and screws (e.g., M6, Ø8). The diagram illustrates the sink being fixed from underneath the countertop surface.

Step 3: Cutout and Dimension Specifications

The following table provides the essential dimensions for each sink model:

Step 4: Apply Sealant

Apply a continuous bead of suitable sealant around the rim of the sink using a sealant gun ?. This is crucial for creating a watertight seal between the sink and the countertop, preventing leaks.

Step 5: Final Placement and Curing

Carefully place the sink into the countertop opening, pressing it firmly into the applied sealant. Ensure the sink is level and properly seated. Allow the sealant to cure completely for at least 24 hours before using the sink or placing items in it, as indicated by the 24h symbol.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Proper care will maintain the appearance and longevity of your Fragranite sink.

• For daily cleaning, run water ? over the surface.
• Apply a mild detergent ? and wipe clean with a soft cloth or sponge ?.
• Rinse the sink thoroughly with clean water after cleaning. ✔️

Avoid using harsh chemicals, solvents (such as Nitro), or abrasive cleaning materials, as these can damage the Fragranite surface and its finish. ❌
