Installation Guide

Follow these steps for initial setup:

1. Unpack the box containing the TV, remote control, stand components, and necessary screws.
2. Carefully handle the TV screen, ensuring no pressure is applied to the LED panel.
3. Place the TV on a stable, protected surface such as a table, using soft materials to prevent scratches.
4. Prepare for final setup, which may include attaching the stand or wall mount.

Important Safety Precautions

General Precautions:

• Watch TV in appropriate lighting conditions. Avoid insufficient light or prolonged viewing to protect your eyesight.
• The screen and case may become hot during operation; this is normal.
• DTS-CD bitstream decoding from HDMI IN is not supported.

Usage and Cleaning:

• Disconnect the AC power cord before cleaning.
• Use a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. For stubborn dust, use a soft cloth dampened with a mild detergent.
• Do not spray water or detergent directly onto the TV.
• Avoid abrasive pads, harsh cleaners (alkaline/acid, scouring powder), or volatile liquids (alcohol, thinners, insecticides).
• Regularly clean ventilation holes to ensure proper airflow.
• Move the TV slowly when adjusting its angle to prevent it from slipping.

Moving the TV:

• Disconnect all cables before moving.
• Large TVs require two or more people for safe movement.
• Avoid applying pressure to the LED panel, shaking the TV, or exposing it to excessive vibrations.
• Use original packaging materials when moving the TV to a new location or for repairs.

Ventilation:

• Do not cover ventilation holes or insert objects into the case.
• Ensure adequate space around the TV for ventilation.

Wall Mounting:

• To ensure proper ventilation and prevent dust buildup, do not mount the TV flat, upside-down, backward, or side-mounted.
• Do not place the TV on shelves, carpets, beds, or in closets.
• Do not cover the TV with fabric (e.g., curtains) or other materials (e.g., newspapers).
• Observe tilt angle limits: 85" and below: maximum 15°; Above 85": maximum 5°.
• Use only the recommended screws; incorrect screws may cause the TV to fall or suffer internal damage.

AC Power Cord Safety:

• Insert the plug fully into the AC outlet.
• Use only with a 200-240V AC power supply.
• Disconnect the AC power cord for safety when connecting cables. Be careful not to trip over cables.
• Unplug the cord before performing work or moving the TV.
• Keep the cord away from heat sources.
• Unplug and clean the AC power plug regularly to prevent fire risk from dust and moisture.
• Avoid pinching, bending, modifying, or twisting the cord.
• Do not place heavy objects on the cord.

Children's Safety:

Troubleshooting Common Problems:

• Damaged AC power cord.
• Unsuitable AC power outlet.
• TV damaged due to drop or impact.
• Liquid or solid object entering the case through an opening.

In case of any of these problems, turn off the TV, unplug the AC power cord immediately, and contact a Xiaomi repair center for professional inspection.

Stability Hazard:

• The TV set can fall, causing serious injury or death. Never place it on an unstable location.
• Always use recommended cabinets, stands, or mounting methods.
• Always use furniture that can safely support the TV.
• Ensure the TV does not overhang the furniture edge.

Usage Restrictions:

• Do not install/use in outdoor locations (direct sunlight), by the sea, in vehicles, medical institutions, unstable locations, near water, or in areas exposed to rain, moisture, or mildew.
• Avoid hot, damp, dusty places; areas prone to insects or mechanical shock; near flammable objects (candles).
• Do not expose to dripping or splashing water. Do not place liquid-filled items (vases) on the TV.
• Avoid rooms with steam or fumes (near stoves/humidifiers) to prevent fire, electric shock, or deformation.
• Do not boil water, heat, cook, or use mosquito coils near the TV.
• Do not use with wet hands, an open case, or unauthorized accessories. Disconnect during lightning storms.
• Do not install outdoors.
• Do not throw objects at the TV screen, as it may break and cause injury. If the screen is damaged, do not touch before unplugging to avoid electric shock.
